"Come on guys, let's play The Poker" says Gangsta #1
"Yeah!" says Gangsta #2
"#epic" says Gangsta #3
"Did you just say that?" says #1
#3 is silent.
They claw the sinner. Piece by piece, mound by mound, his flesh falls to the floor. They bury him under their poker table.
"What would you say about #3?" says #2
"Gangsta Underground The Poker" says #1

Very realistic gameplay if you play on a glass table at home. If you crawl under the table you can see your opponents cards.
Its also fun to knock to check FOR your opponent regardless of their betting intentions.
Free game, cant complain, there are just better VR poker options out there even free ones.

A nice basic poker game. VR is all about immersion. Being able to smoke your big cigar, and stare down some mean looking mother$%#$ers is what makes this game stand out.

Pretty good!
The atmosphere is good, the graphic is good (enough).
The music/sound need to improve abit, more soundtrack, more background sounds.
Should add more contents, types of gameplay, more opponents/AIs.
And make the gameplay is more thrilling abit cause is DOA Poker, some expressions on CPU, make them interact with player when winning/losing.

What an AMAZING Poker game. If you bring multiplayer, the world is yours. This is the most immersive poker game I've played in VR. I don't want futuristic arenas like PokerVR, I want exactly a moody atmosphere like that. The attention to details is amazing, seeing the character breathing, the dirty card backs. This has the potential to be the most amazing poker game ever created.
What a great idea of being able to shoot if you win. Imagine playing with other people and if you win against the whole table, you take a machine gun and spray everyone LOL.
Feels amazing as a single-player game, but I want to play with real people, make it happen! --- Highly recommended!

I found this game while watching a Youtube video on best free Steam VR games and when I saw what the winner gets to do to the loser, I had to have this game! I must say that the poker is addictive and I've lost more than I've won but I keep coming back. It's loads of fun! I'm playing this with a Samsung Odyssey+ so I don't know if it works with all WMR sets but it works great with mine! I can totally see this one having a multiplayer component added and it being a massive hit!

You can view my gameplay & initial impressions review here:
This is free to play, single-player, Texas Hold 'Em against the gangsta AI. You get to shoot your opponent if you win at the end of the match. I found the enemy AI to be pretty good.
You can smoke cigarettes as well. There are some accessories to unlock with your winnings. You can pick one of several characters. Game runs on the Unreal Engine and it ran smoothly for me on my 1060 GTX. I experienced zero issues.
Not bad for free. However, I do wish they would add multiplayer as that would add to the fun of the game. It looks like it was originally planned. So far there is no pay to play or DLC so yeah, I recommend it.
Rate 7/10. There is this game called Pokerstars VR, which is one of the best free games on Steam, but this one isn't bad, especially for the single-player Texas Hold 'Em criminal underground experience. It brings back some memories for me personally ...
