As has been said in a few other reviews, an obvious port direct from mobile phone. That being said, it is much easier for this old bloke to play on PC, mostly because PC screen is much easier to see :P
Good graphics, sound and it plays almost exactly like it shows in the clips and pictures.
Keep in mind that it *will* get very grindy during the game, saving up to unlock slots on ships, not to mention getting new ships themselves can take some time, of course you CAN throw money at the game to do this, but you don't NEED to.
At this point in time I am fairly certain that it can be completed without spending any real money, even if I have not gotten that far, there are a LOT of levels, 60+ and still counting so far.
TIP: Missile/Strategic weapons all have a limited amount of shots, Laser and Kinetic weapons don't, so make sure to mix them up on your ships.
TIP: Check your weapon ranges. A good setup is to have long range missiles along with middle and close weapons. Those missles will fire off almost right at the start of a battle.
TIP: Once the *really* powerful Lasers/Kinetic weapons become available, you don't need to have the strategic weapons anymore, so switch them out for one of those.

TLDR: Purchase ONLY if on a Sale. Casual game ported from Mobile.
EDIT: Ship selection is on F1-F4 for the four controllable ships; should help. :-)
EDIT#2: Ships are now available for in-game currency in the game store!! :D :D :D

THE GAME:
========
Simple realtime 4-ship-fleet vs enemy engagements. 4 types of engagements I have found so far:
1) Destroy All ships
2) Destroy <insert target name>
3) Survive
4) Escort/Rescue
Small maps. Missions are linear and increase in difficulty. Time restrictions make DPS king even if you can manage your ships to be able to defeat stronger foes. You level up as a commander to increase your ability to have more powerful ships per fleet and also level up ships to unlock weapon ports (equip slots) making them stronger. Abilities can be equipped into equip slots bringing an interesting twist to ship customization.
I have played this on Android and so far, aside from some store changes and the pricing, everything seems the same. An engaging game for casual play.
RECOMMENDATION: Purchase ONLY if on a Sale. If you already have this on Android, I don't see the value of acquiring this unless you really want it badly on PC. If they improve upon the base game (a lot of potential) then yeah, it would be worth it, but otherwise don't get this.
Why?
1) Game is Free on Android
2) $ amount you spend to get the game at full price does not equal the free DLC value plus game
3) Powerful ship variants missing from Store so likely DLC only :-(

Allright lets get this game over and done with.
Firstly- It's a fun game, secondly its not the best game. It's an indie game so dont whine too much. Its not bad.
Having said that. It is a a game ported from a mobile game sothere is bound to be issues.
Pros
Its exactly like the mobile game as in it is exacctly liket he mobile games minus the dlc. in the mobile game the dlc are something you have to buy kromium to get. Here at least you just have to buy the the dlc and you get the titans.
Its for casual gamers. Dont think of spending hundred sof hours into it. Seriously its just a casual gaming game. If you want to grind by all means but its better playing it, stopping doing other things then when you feel like it go back to it.
Cons
Its exctly like the mobile game. I mean come on at least change it up a bit its suppose to be in the computer. Try out better graphics or having more ship not just use the exact same game and just port it to the pc.
THe fact you have to grind like hell just to get things. Like seriously no to grind, a little bit is okay but to spend mroe than a few minutes just to afford a new shp or a new weapon thats given at random is freaking insane.
Having said that have fun and give it a try

Galaxy Reavers is an oddly addictive Real Time Strategy Space Battle Simulation. On the surface, it doesn’t look like it would gain too much attention, but for some reason this mobile game turned computer game is one I have been having trouble putting down. The game simply involves sending your little fleet of ships against the mean old enemy fleets and hoping against hope that you come out victorious. To aid you in your strenuous endeavor, you are able to customize the armaments of each of your warships. With luck, you are also able to control the manually fired abilities for each of the ships. You can tell your ships which enemies to target first, but sometimes…usually….most of the time; they have a mind of their own. Even if you order the entire fleet to focus firing on one specific ship, odds are their ADHD disorder suffering AI will break away from their target and take off in pursuit of the nearest enemy ship that happens to cross their path. Additionally, often times you will line up your forward firing laser cannon and start it charging just to have your Captain decide to turn the ship to fire the port side guns. This action of course means that despite all your careful plotting and planning, the main cannon almost certainly fires off harmlessly into space. It can be quite frustrating, but it does add to the realism when your pea-brained Captains think they know better and do not exactly follow your orders to the letter.
You can tell this game was originally designed to have in-app purchases on a mobile device. At present, there are two currencies in the game. One currency is gold, which you earn with every battle you win or item you sell. Another currency, which at one time likely required cash to purchase, is now relegated to being given to you in small amounts for some missions. The premium currency can be converted to gold or may be used to buy special weapons boxes.
I want to be fair and say I played the game before it was officially released and at the time, it seemed to be lacking a lot of polish. I couldn’t seem to find any way to rebind the controls or even see what keys were bound to what. One of the tool tips seemed to suggest I should be able to summon my second and third fleet to aid me in battle. Unfortunately, so far I have been unable to figure out how to do that which is a shame because I could really use more than 4 ships for the level I am currently stuck on. There are also a number of grammatical errors likely due to the game being translated from Chinese.
The gameplay of the game is fairly straight forward. You go to your fleet screen to equip and upgrade your ships however you want them. Once you have them configured how you want, you select the planet you wish to visit and the battle will begin. A quick story is told you and you get a few seconds to give your initial move orders before being cast into the fray. Once in battle, you need to keep your ships alive long enough to complete whatever mission you were assigned for that area. Typically it is just kill every other ship in the field, but sometimes you have to kill a specific one or guard an ally. The difficulty in the game can be a bit off at times. The previous mission may have tested your strength but left you mostly intact and well off for the next fight, whereas the next mission will kill you before you even blink. Another thing that really ramps up the difficulty is the mission timer. I can’t count the number of times my nearly intact fleet was mopping up what was left of the enemy ships, when the timer runs out one laser blast away from killing the last enemy. This of course means you failed the mission (even if one second later you would have been victorius). Upgrading and refitting your ships is the best way to solve this problem. Damage to your ships will be repaired slowly and automatically even if the game is not running. Alternatively, you can throw money at it and the hull breaches will magically repair themselves instantly.
Presentation wise, the game looks pretty good. You can still tell it was made for a smaller screen, but it doesn’t look bad blown up for a bigger screen. There is plenty of details going into making the ships look cool. The various hull designs and the wide variety of weapon effects make the game quite appealing to look at. The sound effects are perfectly fine for this kind of game, the soft sounds of a battle waging as the various weapons fire off and hit their targets.
So should you get it? I find the game to be very addictive. Despite each new mission being just a harder version of some previous mission type, I still want to press on and see what happens at the end of the game. Getting stuck on a mission and having to redo previous missions enough to gain the funds to upgrade my fleet would usually annoy me in most other games, but for some reason, I don’t mind doing that in this one. Once the free Cruiser DLC releases many of my frustrations in the early game should not be experienced by those who get the game after launch. Adding a Cruiser to my fleet really got me through a fair portion of the game more easily than when I just had my Chasers, now that I have added a Battleship, I am having an even better time of it. So if you are looking for a fairly casual, play a single mission now and leave it for something else for a while kind of game, Galaxy Reavers is one you should consider.

For the price it's not bad. But it needs some fine tuning. Ships seem to go were thay want to even though you tell them to go anthor direction. The tutorial is shoved down your throat and dosnt tell you what to do. You cant even change the settings befor you finish the tutorial. And it needs a better way to keep track of your ships. You get 4 ships at a time in battle if one of your ships moves out of view you have to move the screen to the ship away that went astray have it move back to the other ships you were keeping track of. And as far as I can tell the game only uses the mouse for controling your ships. there was no key binding cart in the settings menu so if there is any I dont' know.
But the game is farly ease to control. I just wish I could hit a number key to salect one of the four ships in my fleet insted of clicking on them one at a time. But you get what you pay for,and for 5 bucks it's not bad.

it's a port of a mobile game, but without the microtransactions. You know what you're getting and it's decent for what it is. Reccomend buying on sale.
