Friend ReQuest – A Playable Teaser
Friend ReQuest – A Playable Teaser is a short character study focusing on a girl named Amity, living in a small rural American town.
It is a short, simple, (2D Top Down), life simulator depicting 5 relatively average days of Amity’s life and attending high school. Perform daily tasks, do activities in Amity’s room, and do favors for NPCs to raise your stats. Maybe you’ll make some friends along the way? The rest is yours to discover.
Step into her shoes for a while. I wonder where you’ll take them?
Authors note: Knowledge of the game Persona 5 and its mechanics may enhance the experience.
This is a work of fiction and should be treated as such. Those who cannot discern fiction from reality should not partake in this character study.
This Character Study is not for children or those who are easily disturbed.

Really sweet and sad game, loved playing it and looking forward to Amity Chain in 2022. I just want to hold the character and protect them.

This made me so excited for Amity Chain! The art is phenomenal, especially of all the Christmas decorations you walk past every day. The development between characters was very nuanced and I liked how the students and background elements were staged at the end, it really made it pack a punch.
I think one note would be that I wished there were students to interact with in the courtyard or bathrooms. The meat of the story is really in the convos at lunch and online, so I think overhearing some slightly deeper/juicier conversations from students would have helped filled the game more.
One more note would be that it didn't feel like the stats were ever used, I could increase charm and knowledge really high but I didn't see a result of those, but maybe I missed the point of the stats.
Better than Skyrim! Everyone should play this and pre-order Amity Chain when available, this is definitely worth checking out and keeping your eyes on!

Great game, great graphics everything is great, but there's a small glitch in the boy's bathroom that might need to be fixed but apart from that its a 10/10.

The game was a little repetitive as far as the things to boost your skills go, and maybe I'm slow but i'm still not entirely sure what the skills do besides open more conversation to have with the NPCs. The story itself was amazing though and i love how it was portrayed. I can't wait to see more of the ending

This isn't a game, it's a Teaser/min game ad for amity chain. I wish steam had a meh review because it's not bad at all, it's a half an hour if you help people and an hour to an hour and a half if you don't know what you doing,
The Story (spoilers): The story is good it's about a dude name Chirs who wants to be a girl in a small town full of people who are hardcore Christians. I enjoy the story, I lived in a red state and went to a small county high school. I feel for the main charter even though my high school wasn't against trans or gay rights, a lot of students were. ( I am not a Trans, but I Did hang around with them because they were nice and not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) I am not going talk about the story here just go play the game
Story rating 8/10
Game-play(spoilers): Ok I'm not a big fan of this type of gameplay you just walk into your house, change clothes, go to school, talk to people, go to class, go sit down at lunch (you only do this once), it cut to the end of the day, you help people at the school, study with teachers, then leave to go home, then you go on the computer and then you sleep. This is every day, mind you It's more about the story than the gameplay, I think after day one the walk to school and back should be shortened, but sadly it isn't. then, also there is no point in the stats so you don't have to do anything like change your clothes, help people or study with the teachers. no matter if you do them or not the ending is still the same. I think something that could easily fix this problem ( hopefully in the next game) is if you help people they will see you are not a bad person or the teachers that you study with will help you. the story isn't bad but wasting the time of your players is, I realy hope this helps the devs on the game. but the worst part about the game is the ending few minutes where you wash up on an island, where you sing a sword and shoot a bow, I don't like this because this comes from the left-field and take me out of the game, I hope if this is part of the game is in amity chain it's at the start of the game.
3/10
atmosphere: Ok this game's atmosphere is good, but from the start, it feels like a horror game and it just doesn't work for the first two days, I think a bright color pallet would be good for the first two days then it starts to rain on day three and all stuff starts to happen. it shows the happy cheery-es the game slows to turn into the realty Chris this dark color pallet, trees start to die off, I personally think it would look good and be a great analogy to Chris and the hate shown to Chris.
4/10
Conclusion: I say play it once and look to see if you can find amity chain if out as of writing this (June 9 2022) it hasn't been released and I can't find really any news about it. It's a free game, with a good story, ok atmosphere, and mediocre gameplay.

I will recommend this game only because I know others who play games like me will be recommended to play it. Honestly I found this game really confusing. I liked it but wasn't truly sucked in how I should have been. The controls were great. The story seemed to have context but it just was lacking something I needed in a game. not sure what it is though. Great job to the ones who created it. 6 out of 10

The story is definitely interesting. I m curious about it. But! Game is pretty ''empty''. There is not much to do actually. Walking from school to home and other way around with little dialog that you read here and there. Not much is explained or clear about story itself. I will probably check the full game once it is out but for now I would recommend this if you have some time on your hands. But if you have high expectations on the game, don't play it. It is free so why not try it! I would rate this game 5/10 for now.
