FPV Skydive is perfectly fine for learning the basics. For advanced tricks and more realistic physics, I’d still recommend something like Liftoff or VelociDrone they simply feel closer to real flight once you start pushing harder. That said, when it comes to basic control and orientation, it honestly doesn’t matter much. Whether you’re using a $1,000 simulator from DJI, a $10 game on Steam, a free sim, or even a Minecraft mod, the jump from simulator to your first real drone is always noticeable. FPV Skydive does its job well as an entry point, and it’s a solid, accessible way to build initial muscle memory without overthinking the physics side of things. If you’re just starting out, this will get you flying.

This is a really solid simulator for learning how to fly FPV drones. It’s definitely a bit of an adjustment watching the drone on my monitor instead of my crappy 6-inch analog screen like I do in real life, but it’s a great learning tool.
IMPORTANT: I highly recommend using a controller specifically made for FPV. If you use an Xbox or PlayStation controller, you will screw yourself over — trust me on that. FPV remotes give you the proper stick feel and response you’ll need when flying real drones.
The graphics are amazing, and the simulator does a great job mimicking how a drone reacts to different real-life variables. I’ve never had any major issues, aside from the occasional bug where the system randomly switches to self-leveling mode, which forces me to restart the game to fix it.

for a free game it actually really impressed me with hardly any to no lagging whatsoever, the controls were very nice and smooth, you definitly get your moneys worth and plenty more, yes it could use a few updates and a few of the moves need to be tweaked to fill more realistic, for example the power loop (back flip) doesnt fiop right at all and it i cant explain it, you would have to try it for yourself lol

honestly one of my favorite games. my only critique is that most of the game is behind a paywall. I pay full price for the game, why isnt the rest free...

One of the best FREE fpv drone simulators out there, with some pretty decent free maps, great for begginers
