DO NOT SET THE AUTOFIRE TO MAX! Or, whatever, do what you want, the game will still kill you. Over and over and over again. Setting the autofire to something that fits your style is, however, recommended. It kinda worked for me at about 10.
The game is absolutely fantastic.

Yes! The pinnacle of your masochistic arcade addiction. Just played for what seemed like 10 minutes, but was probably more like an hour. I'll see what the review clicked me in as. This game had, and now still has, that 'One more go, for 10 more yards" factor that nails the classics into the halls of gaming history. This, at the time, was the most beautifully astounding game. There is also a "Scanline Percentage' option in the menu, that is a true sign of every classic retro-artistes repetoire. Well done, Dotemu!
