I for one am excited about where this game is going to go. Of course looking past all the bugs and limited content that's in it. All this game needs is some major updates, patches and some added game content. Even though at the moment I would not recommend it to a friend at the moment I would definitely in the future once this has updated more. Also this game reminds me of The Movies and this game I feel can be an updated version of that game. I have been wanting to play something like that, but never found one like it until now. Keep it up guys and make this game a hit.

I really enjoy playing the game .
It's a lot of fun but there are a few issues or little things that the Devs should add or look into
One of the main issues I have with the game is that it chugs and moving around is really slow even tho my pc is more then capable to run this game
Next I have found if u watch a movie while you have filming you lose all progress of the movie u was making and have to start it all over again right back to scripwrighing ðŸ˜
Also there isn't really explanation how to unlock the cameras and lenses
I don't know if it's just my game but I can't see where u can build paths to conect building
I don't like that the staff and actors walk all the across the map for them to have to come back when u need them then have to wait for them to get there
I would like to see I indicator of the bonus your staff give you for there job ie the total speed boost for research
I also think there should be a way to escape the movie befor it ends if u want
I don't know if there is but u should be able to build or upgrade the script writing building and be able to film more then one film at a time
You are also unable to replace greenery or decorations once u placed then
Honestly I have few more if the Dev would like my feed back I'd happily share with them as I believe your game has alot of potential

I wish there was a neutral mood for this review
It has potential but current state isn't really good but devs announced they'll be rebooting the game entirely I look forward to the reboot

the game can expend like a place to stay for the crew, awards winning for the production, borrow money from the bank, movie screening when and where you can sell the movie to cinema.

I have been badgering the developers for a key to this game since I for saw it, I was keen to get my hands on it. I played Movie Studio Boss: The Sequel many moons ago and since then felt an urge to play something that takes the film tycoon genre to the next level.
Does Film Maker Tycoon do that? Honest answer is I’ve only managed to play an hour so far (which you can see in my first look here)
So I cannot really say one way or another. What I can say is I had an absolute blast with this game. It has issues, but it is early access. It lacks guidance (although there is a brief tutorial) icons don’t have tool tips so it’s hard to tell the genre of films, what research unlocks and a number of other things.
Where this game really comes to life is the small movie snippets it creates, they don’t fit together well to make a story, the voice over is average, the animation is crude….. but I love it.
For those of you who want substance I’m not in far enough to know how much of a genuine tycoon game this is, money seemed pretty easy to come by early on. Additionally, if you like your games a little more finished it may be worth waiting. For those of you who want a laugh and like the idea I at this very early stage recommend the game
I will add that the current price is a little high for what appears to be available, so if you are not 100% sold it may be worth waiting a little longer in the early access before pulling the trigger

while its best to ignore many negative reviews on early access games as people are more focused on what they want rather then being a helpfull hand.
The game overall is decent at its state once the creator puts in more work and effert into while the game is not developed by a team but moreless and individual the price could be lower but i understand the concepts of making a game and what it cost in the programs to make a game. While its a reminder of lionheads "the movies" do under stand that was a team who made the game.
The game itself is easy to play and figure out while there are bugs and kinks i feel that whinning about it does not help improve the game. i would give the game at this point a 7 out of 10.
needs much work yoda has spoken.
