I love this game for some reason. I like that it affects your reputation if you drive over neighbours fields. I also love the challenge of the game. It was a true struggle until I got 50 000 social points because you have to do everything yourself and also help others to gain more social points. Even if i now own almost all machinery and over 15 fields i still play to try and afford the next silo or even more tractors for moving around the map faster with teleportation through tractors. Sure the game is not perfect, it has some bugs some are goods some bad.
-a lot of work in the beginning
-you will have to look up a lot of info on the internet since the game does not tell you everything about year endings and how price fluctuate or how to get a child or wife.
+you have to work for others in the beginning to get your free implaments for your tractor
+price fluctuations
+many implements and tractors to buy
+pretty good ground physics
+a great game if you like to grind and do stuff while watching streams or something a really relaxing game.
i think i like this game more than most will but there is a certain charm to it and i always come back sooner or later to play again. It is weirdly addicting.

It's not a bad game. The voice acting, on the other hand, is ridiculously bad. It would be nice if they'd fix that.

I'd say the game is alright. I guess it's been around for 4 years so you could argue it was an early "Dynasty game" pioneer but to be honest, why put up with it? Toplitz seems to be trying to corner the Dynasty game market with mixed results. If you want to play a truly great Dynasty game, go get Medieval Dynasty (I think it's going on sale because they're releasing co-op). Even Sengoku Dynasty has been (so far) a solid game.
With this game and the related Lumberjack's Dynasty (made by the same dev and effectively like a sequel to this in a way--I mean, it's basically the same game with tree cutting instead of farming), the basic formula is: you've inherited a place that you need to fix up. You've got a map you can wander around and do various things but GTA/RDR this is not.
There are NPCs you can interact with for missions and a relationship but the dialog feels like it was written by a 13 year old. The voice acting is so awful it's almost meme-worthy. The textures and environment is passable but looks like it came from 2010 or earlier.
That said, if you're like me and like to effectively do work in a game, you'll have plenty to do. Sort of like the OCD itch that makes you want to fix up and clean up places. You can farm but to be honest it's easier to hire someone to do it even though the AI is worse that Farming Simulator (why aren't you just playing FS if you want to farm?). The various mechanics for growing crops and the like are passable. You can sort of feel like you're making progress and doing things.
If you can get the game on sale for like $5 or maybe at most $10, and you have that itch to scratch, you'll sink time into the game and it can feel alright, especially if you just can't find anything else to play. At least the devs managed to push out an update to fix their last update (4 years on!) that had AI traffic going in circles, crashing into your farm or driving over your fields.
Or, you could go get Lumberjack's Dynasty on sale and get a game that has fewer bugs (well, they're different) and feels marginally better but doesn't have farming.
Supposedly there's a Farmer's Dynasty 2 coming out next year. No idea if it'll be better but they're all over the idea that it'll have weather. If you want a better game about cleaning up a farm and getting married and all that, try Farmer's Life. Farming in there is also mediocre but it's a funnier experience and there's more freedom to build and expand your farm. I've got more hours in that than I do in this one for a reason. :)

This game has a lot of potential whether it be with the social side or the task side of the farm. The story is good. In my opinion, there is room for improvement in the gameplay. Further develop the social side (More choice of interactions between characters, longevity of the main character, being able to personalize your main character, etc.), more tasks, more choices in terms of construction, decorations, etc. Like I said, the game has a lot of potential, but it seems like the developers abandoned the project in the middle of the design. The game is very repetitive which means that I get bored quickly even though I love this game

Overall the game's not bad. Took forever and a year for the devs to patch a simple AI bug with traffic in game. Also wanna point out that the only reason the lazy devs even released that patch was to add an advertisement for farmer's dynasty 2 to the game. Yeah... think on that for a bit before you commit any money to them.

Great little game but the voice actors might be the worst in the history of games haha
