The dream always lived in you: to rebuild your grandfather's farm and start your own dynasty – let the dream come true! Live – Build – Farm: Enjoy a unique mix of farming, constructing and life simulation that takes you to the countryside and holds plenty of challenging gameplay in stock! Repair and renovate your farm: Repair roofs, stables and sheds, renovate facades and decorate the interiors of your house to your own taste. Interact with the extensive open world and collect social points: Be open for new acquaintances – helpfulness and friendliness pay off – and sooner or later you will find your partner for live and maybe even have kids! Complete challenging quests in your environment and enjoy the country life in its full splendor with all its facets, e.g., on a camp fire or while fishing.

At first I had to get used to the different RPG elements, but after playing it for a bit I really took a liking to the whole concept.
It's a welcome change of pace after all the farm simming. Also, developers have been updating the game constantly and it has only gotten better.

I'd say the game is alright. I guess it's been around for 4 years so you could argue it was an early "Dynasty game" pioneer but to be honest, why put up with it? Toplitz seems to be trying to corner the Dynasty game market with mixed results. If you want to play a truly great Dynasty game, go get Medieval Dynasty (I think it's going on sale because they're releasing co-op). Even Sengoku Dynasty has been (so far) a solid game.
With this game and the related Lumberjack's Dynasty (made by the same dev and effectively like a sequel to this in a way--I mean, it's basically the same game with tree cutting instead of farming), the basic formula is: you've inherited a place that you need to fix up. You've got a map you can wander around and do various things but GTA/RDR this is not.
There are NPCs you can interact with for missions and a relationship but the dialog feels like it was written by a 13 year old. The voice acting is so awful it's almost meme-worthy. The textures and environment is passable but looks like it came from 2010 or earlier.
That said, if you're like me and like to effectively do work in a game, you'll have plenty to do. Sort of like the OCD itch that makes you want to fix up and clean up places. You can farm but to be honest it's easier to hire someone to do it even though the AI is worse that Farming Simulator (why aren't you just playing FS if you want to farm?). The various mechanics for growing crops and the like are passable. You can sort of feel like you're making progress and doing things.
If you can get the game on sale for like $5 or maybe at most $10, and you have that itch to scratch, you'll sink time into the game and it can feel alright, especially if you just can't find anything else to play. At least the devs managed to push out an update to fix their last update (4 years on!) that had AI traffic going in circles, crashing into your farm or driving over your fields.
Or, you could go get Lumberjack's Dynasty on sale and get a game that has fewer bugs (well, they're different) and feels marginally better but doesn't have farming.
Supposedly there's a Farmer's Dynasty 2 coming out next year. No idea if it'll be better but they're all over the idea that it'll have weather. If you want a better game about cleaning up a farm and getting married and all that, try Farmer's Life. Farming in there is also mediocre but it's a funnier experience and there's more freedom to build and expand your farm. I've got more hours in that than I do in this one for a reason. :)

Overall the game's not bad. Took forever and a year for the devs to patch a simple AI bug with traffic in game. Also wanna point out that the only reason the lazy devs even released that patch was to add an advertisement for farmer's dynasty 2 to the game. Yeah... think on that for a bit before you commit any money to them.

This is a unique and fun game with different mechanics than typical farming games. You fix buildings, get married, have kids, and farm. I love the diverse mechanics.

A delightful game to play. Beautiful graphics and smooth loading. I know it is a rather older game, but still has its name above some that have recently released.

Farmer's Dynasty
Once you get accustomed to the mechanics of the game, it can be pretty fun plowing , growing harvesting, fields
repairing buildings for your self or other neighbours earn some cash or equipment
Fishing in this game is relaxed and not at all frustrating as in some games concept of fixing up your farm is appealing
Farming isn’t just about driving endlessly up and down a field Foraging and gardening are a nice addition

This game is great, it has plenty to do. Pity the machinery wasn't as fast. The voice acting is very stale. Looking forward to Farmers Dynasty 2.
