Yeah, I'm going to recommend it, but under the context that I got this on sale for about $2.50. I strongly recommend against paying full price for it, because holy crap there are some genuinely terrible design decisions in this game, but it's ok for an indie project.
Being honest, this game is not a good game in most ways. The frame rate is all over the place, the controls are crap, and the animations are rough. The hacking mini-games and driving sections are genuinely awful.
But! This game has a lot of heart and most of the crappy parts could be fixed with some additional tweaking, but I get the sneaking suspicion that the devs have all moved on to other projects and probably won't be addressing the major issues with this game. The writing is actually pretty good and the characters are likable. I've found myself enjoying the PC version a lot more because the KB/M controls make this game playable. It would be nice if this could be polished up some more, but as it stands it's worth having in your library if you can deal with the jank and enjoy 3rd person shooters/RPGs like Mass Effect (no this isn't even close to the quality of MELE, but it's a good effort from an indie company).

Since other reviews already mentioned the "We have Mass Effect at home" meme, I'd like to double down on that because it's also the main selling point here: If you like the aesthetics and feel of BioWare's Space Opera (sleek, shiny, futuristic space colony setting with exploring and shooting) and you're okay with a quick, partially underbaked snack instead of a full meal, this game might be worth a look - only when on sale though, current asking price is way too steep for what it has to offer, should be 10€ tops.
Almost every aspect of Everreach feels like a blueprint for what could have been a great experience. There is potential for a good story, although it lacks nuance and was obviously never developed past a rough outline. Dialogue and voice acting are pretty decent, visuals can be stunning at times. Other than that, there's not much here. Gameplay, gunplay especially, is pretty janky. Controls feel imprecise and floaty. Skill system is... present. It's also very short, even thorough explorers won't get more than ~5 hours out of it.
Still giving a thumbs up because overall I did enjoy my time playing.
Played on Linux, recommended Proton Version 5.13, anything above led to crashes during some loading screens.

I am not a hardcore fan of the genre. Nor am I a masochist.
But for the price of a coffee on sale, and on the intended challenging difficulty, this delivered a perfectly good time - completed in just under eight hours total.
I appreciate going in that it's not a great long AAA epic. And yes the camera is kind of close and the anatomy on the characters is bizarre. The voice work adds a decent dimension to the experience and they have the guy who does the voice on the Honest Trailers. The rifle has a habit of not reloading sometimes without switching away from it, which adds another challenge at times... intended or not.
But there was a moment when I picked up my robot pal where I genuinely lol'd at an intentionally funny exchange (also a Red Dwarf reference later on). I can't sprint (edit: found how to sprint in a discussion thread) or jump or feel any kick from the guns, but I am enjoying playing it. The music is effective and the visuals on max are fine. You do get that thing where it unsubtly jacks up the detail the closer you get to things - that could be smoother, but so what.
You can see things further away than your rifle will reach, which annoys me on games where you've got a real world rifle that shoots for miles. Here, I just say ok, this is an energy weapon and it has limited range, I can live with that.
Just selecting skills to upgrade as I went along, I didn't manage to get to the end of any of the trees to unlock an ability. I've seen a dev comment about this and the way to go is to spam the upgrade branch that gives you more for your money. But really, it should have been possible to get at least one full ability just playing the game and making my choice imho. Others may not think so.
I also haven't managed to save my pal, I guess I had to be tough on him so he'd survive without me.
The game is what it is, a decent Steam sale find. There are achievements and cards. If you like the look of it and you can cope with these kinds of issues without running to the hills screaming that it's not the same stuff as the big bucks competitors, then I'd say there's enough here... or you could buy that coffee

You have to go into this understanding it is a low budget game. It is low budget. The controls and enemy AI are wonky, the hoverbike sections are not great, and the models and art are a little odd at times. It was probably made by like three people, at most. I think it is good for what it is. It is good for a low budget title. If this was made by a major AAA publisher, I would consider it absolute trash, but that's not who made it. It's got surprisingly few bugs considering. I haven't really run into anything serious.
I haven't finished it, but I'm working towards that. The main character looks cool and has a cool attitude and backstory. The game's story is pretty cool so far, though nothing mind bending, it even has some decent humor here and there.
It was clearly made with a lot of love and has a certain kitschy charm to it, so get it on sale and have some fun.

Putting thumbs up here because i had overall positive experience with this game and generally liked it!
Beautiful world, beautiful people, fancy sci-fi equipment and conscructions. Actually, i like it a lot, both equipment and construction: shiny, smooth, glowing, enameled - just how i like it!
Developers also made a quite good tech-tree to develop your character's armor, weapons and a couple of special abilities.
On the other side, it's a very short game, took me only 7 hours to explore every corner and complete it.
Not much happening on the horizon and devs actually tried to limit that so you either face a cliff wall or some just some white fog.
Your character is only given two weapons: an assault rifle and a pistol, this all your weaponry from the beginning and till the end of the game.
Movement is fine but kinda restricted: you can't climb, you can't jump, can't dodge or roll so you get stuck even on small rocks and don't get any fancy maneuvering in combat.
Your character gets a hoverbike to do long-distance travel which is armed with a canon but it holds charge only for three shots and then you have to glide around to recharge it. One of my combat scenes was actually just like that: fire three shots at a target, do a long circle, fire at the next target and so on until i got all the enemies, so, interesting concept but poor realization.
But, like i said, it was overall positive experience and i hope developers would do a bigger, better and more polished sequel.

Short and a bit janky, but sweet. I hated the hover bike sections, but I felt good when I did beat them.
It was a bit of a shame I didn't get enough XP and resources to try out all the powers.

You may already know the shortcomings in game-handling; weapon swap animations interrupt meaningful play. It's madly frustrating. Want to walk and reload? No. Need a dash-jump, slide-strife? No. The artwork is fantastic however. Voice acting is good. This game was a steal at $2.49usd. But still, how long does it take to draw/put up a weapon?
