Dungeon Punks is a fast paced Action RPG with a unique Tag-Team fighting system and Local Player vs. Player Brawl Mode. Adventure awaits whether you’re going solo, playing with friends, or beating each other to a pulp in one of the many battle arenas! Total mayhem is bound to break loose as you blast your enemies senseless with crazy magical spells and custom combo attacks.

Dungeon Punks is a really fun Beat-em-up. I highly recommend this game to those that like this genre or just want something fun to play.
There are 6 different classes you can play as, each with their own unique set of spells. You can also buy equipement, which are class specific, to use in combat. You can also gain levels which increases their overall power and use tome points to level up skills.
Each level you have to beat a boss to proceed to the next level. The levels have multiple rooms, you go from room to room and fight enemies. Along the way you may encounter NPC's that give side quests which will earn you gold and exp.
The best thing about this game is you have AI party members that tag along and fight with you. Very refreshing to see, you can swap between party members as well if you want to play someone different.
One issue I have is the lack of healing in the game, there's not enough potion drops. This kind of forces you to exit the dungeon early because your party members will die and you're left alone. You can finish the level alone, but it's not worth the trouble.
From an hours to price ratio, you will definitely get your money's worth. The RPG elements combined with the combat are very good and will keep you entertained for a long time.

I'll be honest I originally bought this through Humble Bundle to get the AQWorlds bonus items, but was also interested in playing the game. After hearing that the developers for Dungeon Punks had been the ones behind Shadow Tale I got even more excited. I'm currently running through New Game+ mode and although it is a bit tougher without the shop its still quite good. I do recommend this game as I do enjoy playing it.
Possible pros and cons:
~I do like and enjoy this game because, its not stupid hard or stupid easy.
~There are upgradable skills, but they max out at level 2.
~I believe characters max out at level 40 or so. Update: Leveling goes beyond 40.
~Theres different weapons and shields for the six unlockable and playable characters. Some items are locked to two or so characters such as axes or maces.
~All six characters look different and have different skills. Only one female though (out of six).
~You are not limited or forced to play as any specific character unless you haven't unlocked them all yet as you can easily switch characters on the windship. In the combat areas you can switch between the teams of two and then switch to pick the exact character to play as.
~Shop is locked after beating the game and begining again in New Game mode + (Just a minor nuisance, but items drop more frequently)
~Some replaying of areas and grinding is required to progress
~Death penalty only seems to really hurt you in New Game + mode, as the cost to resurect goes up.
~Without the shop in New Game+ gold really stacks up and loses value. You can spend gold to enchant items, but I'm doing just fine without enchantments and I've got just under 800,000 gold saved up so far.
~One bugged achievement so far.
The achievement earned by getting all skills/ spells to level 1 will not pop for me. I have gone as far as to unlock and fully upgrade all skills/ spells, but the Magicians Apprentice achievement still will not unlock.
In short I don't have the Magicians Apprentice for all skills level 1 but I have the Ultimate Wizard for all skills level 2.

Surprisingly great and entertaining fun. The only real complaint is that I wish that it had access to online multiplayer, but I'd like to think most of us know that's relatively hard to pull off no matter what format you use. It does have couch co-op though, which I think it's great for.
Anyways, Dungeon Punks is a semi-RPG side scrolling beat-em-up and it's got a wide variety of classes and ways to play a character. Hit stuff, get loot, level up, hit harder. It's less dependent on loot and more dependent on your level (to a certain extent) so when you level up, you don't feel like you're trying to chase the best gear as well. At the same time, gear makes a pretty big difference, meaning that the improvements in your performance when you level up are well balanced with the improvements you get from equipment. Shame most games seem to forget how to do this these days.
I bought this sort of as a thank you to the guys at Artix Entertainment who crafted those pay2win browser flash games that as a kid who wasn't allowed to buy video games, played the absolute heck out of. It's been almost a decade since I last touched one of their browser games so I figured I'd give this a try. Notably, without the constraints of having to maintain a player population and dance around making consistent profits, this is actually extremely fun.
It bears the somewhat muted, but present trademark humor and writing that Artix Entertainment is known for without being too overdone, and the art style is more graceful and mature, while still maintaining their bright and pop-out color scheme. It's visually refreshing and cheery and humorous without truly taking itself too seriously, but neither is it throwing sense to the wind. There's just enough flavor and intrigue in the writing that I actually find myself wanting more out of the game and story.
All in all, Dungeon Punks is a fantastic little game. It strikes a nice balance between progression, gameplay, and just the right touch of an interesting setting and story that I'd love to see more of in the future.

Having just found this game earlier tonight and decided to give it a shot because of the low price, I'm really digging it. It's very fun, the RPG elements are great, the beat 'em up side feels great, I like the cast you get to pick from, and the art is good, too. If they ever decide to add an online option for co-op or duels, I'd be able to test out multiplayer better, as I have no local friends to ask. But as it stands, I am glad I took a shot on this game. Any fans of beat 'em ups like Castle Crashers or Dungeon Fighter Online will be pleased.

I'll be honest - I never planned on playing the game. I got it in Early Access so I could get the bonus for another game by Artix, and I'm glad I decided to play.
A fun beat-em-up tag team brawler where you can switch between characters when they get low health. It has the fun and creative lore that makes Artix games special. The art style is great, and it has trading cards that go for quite a bit on the market. The game is relatively short, with only a few levels, but the game is grindy and that adds playtime. Achievements are fairly easy and the game is an overall enjoyable experience.
There is one major con, though. The controls are horrendous. I tried multiple key bindings and they all felt akward. I then decided to use a controller, and that made the game WAY better.
I recommend this game, and highly recommend that you use a controller.

Great game so far with good details and characters. The team that made this used to have a small mmo called Shadowtale which is now closed down but was a great game anyway. It is nice to see a lot of elements from that game in Duneon Punks but improved in many ways. Definitely a game worth buying
