Dead Cells
Dead Cells puts you in control of a failed alchemic experiment trying to figure out what's happening on a sprawling, ever-changing and seemingly cursed Island. Tough but fair combat, responsive controls, challenging foes, permadeath and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble, make for a demanding, visceral and cathartic action game. Interconnected levels and progressive unlocking of access to the island provides you with a real incentive to explore your surroundings. Add in a degree of evolution for your character and permanent weapon upgrades. At the end of the day though, it’s YOUR skills as a player that matter most! Roguelites are about constantly getting better, until what was an insurmountable obstacle becomes a walk in the park. Unforgiving combat wed to the absence of any kind of safety net makes for an adrenalin pumping ride each and every run and unrivaled replayability.

I don't know. I just kept going, one run after another, I couldn't stop. A voice in my head just kept repeating, "one more run"

i unlocked the crowbar from half life and the nail from hollow knight and started beating people mercilessly with them. 10/10 game.

Now THIS is a game for people like me. I'm almost 50, work in a factory and just need to pass some time, not to be "imersed" and spend my whole day in a virtual world.. I don't care about no story, I don't care about no photorealistic graphics, that make you change graphics cards every few years. Sorry, "ain't nobody got time for that", as a great philisopher once said. I care about the sound, and oh, what I mostly care about, is GAMEPLAY, imagine that, in a GAME. And this game has an interesting and fun one. So does the new RE4, but I'd rather play the old one, cause it's faster and simpler. I tried other games like this but this one is again, faster and simpler, and more fun. So for people with the same needs and demands THIS is the game for you. To the team behind the creation of this game: Thank you guys(and girls?). I came here to support you and hope more good stuff for you and from you.

The game has more depth then it seems. The game play never gets redundant even though you are repeating run after run.

PEAK
Controls are immensely fluid, combat is the most satisfying of any video game I've played, the roguelike elements are balanced very well. I love that it is not RNG what level you go to, you always choose that yourself.
I am very happy with the VASTLY expansive assist mode options that allow those who struggle with certain aspects of the game to breeze through them while still gaining the full experience on other regards. I, for example, am very not fond of the spike traps and platforming bits, I feel the physics afforded to the main character do not at all suit precision platforming. So having the option to turn the damage those spike traps do down to 20% of what it once was makes an IMMEASURABLE improvement to my enjoyment of the game.

A perfect game for busy people. Not too demanding and can be ran on everything, no run is the same, it has some lore, you can turn off your brain or really try a new play style, and every run is a step forward.
You can play for 10 min or 2h, put it down for 30 min or 3 weeks, and you will not lose anything
