Combine And Conquer
Combine And Conquer is a relaxing, large-scale, multi-planetary, mega factory automation game.
Mine resources, craft new items and structures via recipes and generate your own, custom building blocks.
Expand your factory to span across multiple planets.
- Discord
There’s also a demo of Combine And Conquer which offers all the features of the full game except for the ability to load games.
With the demo you can freely test the entire game and pick up where you left once you decide to get the full version (you’ll have to manually copy the savegames).
Use miners combined with arms and belts to extract the planet’s natural resources to feed your factory’s ever-growing hunger.
With the help of furnaces you can turn raw ores into plates.
Use assemblers to craft basic items from plates.
Which then serve as input for more complex recipes. Craft new structures such as belts and arms to further expand your factory.
Unlock new technologies to increase your factory’s throughput and size and to unlock more useful structures.
Use the planner feature to create custom blueprints.
Which can then be turned into new buildings blocks (modules) for your factory. This way you can create new, custom assemblers which may support any recipe.
You can even use your previously generated modules when planning new ones.
Use your custom modules to further expand your factory. There’s more than enough ‘space’ left.
Colonize new planets and transfer resources between them to connect their factories.

The game is very interesting. The pdf guide in the description is mandatory reading since there's currently no in-game tutorial.
I'm really enjoying it, even though there's a lot of rough edges so far (very early Early Access).
Looking forward to seeing where the game goes!

Excellent Game, the more you play the more it sucks you in. A nice unique take on a resource manager. The module (blueprint) building is a great piece of this game.

A solid game and really fun if these sort of things scratch an itch. Active development and the dude's on Discord.
Blueprint modules need to be better and the tech tree is a bit shallow. I saw zero bugs (as one would hope with a Rust program). Look out Factorio, when this goes 1.0 in 8 years like you did it'll be great!!

I'd give this game a middling review if I could, but I wouldn't want to steer someone away from it, so I'm giving it a positive.
Honestly it feels like a great foundation for a game, but it also feels way way too early. The UI is functional, but not intuitive. Same for the controls, some things (like shift selecting or drag placing) feel odd, as there is like, a delay for when things get placed or selected (I know that doesn't make a ton of sense, but I think most things are happening off of key release rather than key press, which feels strange).
I didn't make it very far, only completely t1 research and setting up for t2. I'll still probably play more of the game, as it is is definitely enjoyable, but it does feel more like playing a pre-alpha version rather than an EA release.
The struggle of 1 item 1 belt in a 2d game is pretty fun, and forces you to lay out some factories that are fundamentally different from how you might do it in factorio, which is really nice. The lack of 'hand crafting' for different parts creates its own unique challenge. I've really enjoyed creating an expanding mall to build out the factory.
The lack of tutorial is kind of rough, since even with the manual creating a module (blueprint ) is a little confusing. The purpose of ticks in module creation isn't made clear anywhere other than to simulate steps, but it's unclear as to why that matters once it's placed in the world.
Sorry for the rambling review. I do think the game is worth grabbing if you like Factorio, DSP, or Satisfactory and would like more factory goodness. It's not nearly as polished, but it offers enough newness to be worth playing around with.

I always love factory games, I don't even know why but I do :-)
Very cool again

Fun game. Had a little bit of trouble at first but once I read the manual it really helped.
