Downloaded for the messed up MIDI version of Pumped Up Kicks in the trailer, stayed for the jarring text2spech voiceacting. 5/5

Citywars Tower Defense is an incredibly unique game, successfully blending survival crafting and tower defense into a vaguely MMO experience that somehow doesn't have a hint of microtransactions. It's probably not something everyone will be into, but if it piques your interest definitely try a few levels to see if you like it. The game starts out very simple and slowly adds layers of complexity so it's really easy to learn.
The multiplayer aspect of this game seems amazing for groups. Everyone is visible in the same space, including level selection, making coordination easy; and there doesn't seem to be a limit on room size. However many people you can gather up can play together; working together to manage and defend the increasingly complex supply chains necessary for building/upgrading not only towers, but tools and weapons too. And while I haven't gotten to try it yet, there's mention of an event area that sounds promising.
By the way, if you ever need a break, there's an easily unlocked arcade section FULL of solo-friendly multiplayer minigames where you can goof off. My friend and I spent 2 and a half hours exploring the desert just to unlock a shirt lol
How the hell is this gem free

Super lovely, yes i would totally recommend but be adviced that there's no Asia/SEA server yet..
hopefully this game gets more people.
(*waiting on more slower pace/base building gamemodes for endless waves and bigger map to explore.)

classic crafting survival stuffs combined with tower defense. It's actually good, lots of different tower variants, can be played co-op, minimalist visual style, also have minigame (mainly parkour) if you kinda bored from playing the tower defense aspect. But the balance on this game is kinda bad, you are forced to play co-op in certain level to clear it, and if you're solo player, good luck.

The game isn’t bad, but it gets boring quickly. I think more content and different features need to be added. I’d say it’s good for a couple of evenings, but that’s about it. But its good!
