Incredibly cute and easy to pick up. The cats, of course, do everything in their power to make your job harder, but are adorable while doing it. You can even put little bow ties on the fuzzy bastards to make them even more menacingly cute!

As a cat owner and a video game developer, when I saw this on reddit, I decided I have to give it a whirl. While it's not set up to play on Steam Deck, it plays on the steam deck very nicely (XBox controller schema obviously).
I genuinely exclaimed "Yes!" when I finally finished level 1, despite myself. For the price, I would 100% recommend it.
It's a no brainer to support indie developers.

The game is much like the trailer suggests. The cats are as chaotic as they are cute, and sometimes the game really gets to you because despite seeing the level solution right there you are dependent on the fickleness of the cats. But hey, that's realistic as it is just what you would expect from herding cats. The likes and dislikes make the puzzles more layered so that you can plan what to do about which cat most of the time.
I made it up to halfway through the third setting in one sitting. I managed to get 2 or 3 stars for nearly every level until then but some of those third stars I will probably not even try to chase because of the luck factor. I'll likely get back to the game later to see what the fourth setting has to offer.
Fun concept, good execution, expected amounts of frustration. I think some kind of free play level where you just chill with some cats and toys in a room without a timer would be pretty fun too.

Within 5 minutes I was already pleading with the cats to stay off of the furniture. 10/10 of first impressions.

You, the World's Foremost Cat-Herder, have been charged by parties unknown to get cats to sit still in a few zones on the floor for a few seconds. It's only a few seconds! How hard could it be?
Since electric blankets and sunbeams are not part of your arsenal, you will soon discover how hard it can be.
The cats have individual desires and levels of energy. Some like to watch TV, others want to bat plastic balls or slap at spinny butterfly toys. Others hate it. Some will claw you if you pick them up. There are surely further wrinkles and distractions.
So it's not a hard game, per se, but scoring well requires investigating each cat to find their preferences, taking stock of what distractions are available, and formulating a plan. It will take a few tries, at least, to score the best-possible times. Your reward for an excellent performance is progressively more-embarrassing things to dress your cats with: bowties, shades, etc.
You could just hammer through the levels, but then you'll miss out on stupider things to foist on your cats. If you haven't got the patience for it, maybe you're not the World's Foremost Cat-Herder. Sometimes, I'm not sure if I have the patience for it. I'm not really the World's Foremost Cat-Herder. I might be fit to be their understudy on a lucky day.
As of this writing, with about 20 minutes in the game, I've finished a little bit of the second (of four) zones. I went back to three-star a few of the earlier levels but the majority have not been stellar successes and I guess I'm okay with that.
For the few dollars I paid for this, I'm quite okay with how short this game is. The cats don't seem to mind too much either.
