I watch Subaru play this and I thought it was pretty fun, this is the first time I enjoy playing soccer game so much, I hope I could play Bluelock version of this in the Future

Good game but if youre going into this expecting a legit soccer game look elsewhere. This is mostly for those who enjoy the show/characters and wish to interact with them using simple arcade soccer mechanics (even more striped down than Mario Strikers). Wait for a sale on this one

havent watched or read the manga but the game welcomes both first timer and fan. the game is fun and the special moves are indeed special. MORISAKIIIIIII!

wish we could get more football games where fun is the priority and not selling virtual cards that will only last you a couple of months

an excellent Tsubasa game with more depth to it than I had anticipated. great replayability thanks to the New Hero mode and I have not even spent time in Online yet, except a couple games just to try it out with a friend. with especially discounts being thrown around pretty often, I'd say this is a must pick for any fan of the anime/manga series.
ps: fifa players beware, this is NOT your typical football/soccer game so if you're expecting a mostly realistic depiction of the sport in this game, don't buy it before watching some gameplay videos first.

This is the best captain tsubasa game I've played. I see a lot of complaints about the game crashing and the online mode. I haven't had any technical issues at all with the game, and I just bought it for the story mode. Honestly I have no complaints, it runs well and the gameplay is very fun.

For now I am reviewing after playing casual matches and training.
Why? Because the starting menu is pointing to that when pressing start. After weeks I found out that from the online matches menu you can go to the ACTUAL main menu where you can select story mode, hero mode etc... ;-)

Apart from this UI issue, well... I am a Captain Tsubasa fan and... IT IS FUN. It is stronger than you. When a special shot is kicked, a goal is made few seconds before the ending whistle, when 4 players get K.O. at the same time, no fouls or yellow card... The German Gigantic goalkeeper is catching the ball with his elbow and thigh ah ah ah... IT IS CAPTAIN TSUBASA, gentlemen. Buy it
