Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Multiplayer combines a fluid momentum based movement system, player focused map design, deep customization, and a brand new combat rig system to create an intense gameplay experience where every second counts. Combat Rigs (Rigs) are the ultimate combat systems. Each Rig is a cutting-edge, tactical combat suit worn by the player and is built for totally different styles of play. Players will also join one of four brand-new Mission Teams to unlock calling cards, camos, emblems, and weapons unique to that team. In Zombies, go back in time to fight the undead in a 1980s amusement park, complete with a plethora of rides, an awesome arcade, and a funky, functioning rollercoaster. Embrace previously beloved aspects of the mode like easter eggs, power ups, and novel weapons while experiencing innovations like brand-new team mechanics, the After Life Arcade, and Fate and Fortune Cards.

The biggest crime this game made was to be called Call of Duty. While it's multiplayer isn't great, this had easily one of the best campaign storylines ever with characters you cared deeply about, deep sacrifice, and a great + realistic world building. It really deserved far better. Perhaps, fittingly, the campaign never ended with a sequel in mind. But this a campaign I keep thinking about and coming back to

In Windows go to display settings>system>graphics and turn off "optimizations for windowed games" to play the game if there are issues.
Best campaign since 2007

Does not deserve the hate it gets, futuristic setting is so cool and it works really well, characters are so well written and memorable and it has one of the best stories and a protagonist in cod history.

The zombies for this is way too fun. However, it is annoying that you need to buy an extremely expensive game and then the expensive season pass. Even on sale it's not that cheap considering how old the game is now

I only bought this for Zombies in Spaceland. Runs really well for me, but come on......$60? These old cods should genuinely be like $3.99. I hate supporting a greedy, soulless company but here we are. If you have the patience, you will be able to get this for $20 during an Activision sale, but still.....greed.

The most over-hated game I've EVER seen. People didn't like Infinite Warfare because it's a futuristic Call of Duty, and that was the theme for the previous few games at that time. I see why people were tired of it by that point, but does Infinite Warfare really deserve the hate it got? I really don't think so.
I don't look at it like a Call of Duty, but as an attempt at a futuristic conflict between humans and how that would actually turn out. I think of Star Wars but with "less" fantasy, if that makes sense. I guess that's why I love it, and others hate it. Actually, maybe that's not entirely true. A lot of people like the Zombies mode!
If you still aren't sold, just look at where Call of Duty is today. Do you see any over-the-top skins running around in this masterpiece? No, but it has loot-boxes! That's better, right...? OK, fine. Infinite Warfare isn't perfect, but it's still a beauty in my eyes. One day, I hope it gets the love it deserves. Maybe a sequel?
Oh who am I kidding! They're afraid to innovate again.
