Buster’s Tower Defense

like the name says, the game is scuffed but honestly this was a lotta fun and the dialogue made me laugh a couple times. pretty good if you just wanna mess around for an hour.

A very promising game from a very upcoming developer by the name of Otis Anderson. The game is early access but it is worth playing the game. It is not often you find someone who is willing to find new players to test their game. I would be pleased to see more and more from Otis. I have nothing but positive things to say about this game and its creator. This game will be a labor of love but one worth playing. If nothing else I am excited to see this game grow.

I absolutely love the game. The gameplay is really good and addicting and the physics in the game are really cool. The game is really funny and humorous and I love every single second of it. The voice acting is also really good and funny. I also have to mention that this game has an AMAZING soundtrack, like it is actually SOOO FREAKING GOOOOD!. For an indie game, this is actually pretty impressive :D

This game is a work of art. It is a masterpiece. It revolutionized the genre. Worthy of game of the century. I could not recommend this game enough. PLEASE buy it. If I could I would buy it again. 11/10

When I first saw this game, I had high expectations, mainly because of its resemblance of the hidden gem *New* EPIC SCUFFED BHOP SIMULATOR 2023 (POGCHAMP). After playing it, I can gladly say, my already high expectations were blown out of the water by this modern masterpiece. Most triple A games cannot even compare to the work of art that is this game. From the aesthetic design, to the gameplay, everything about this game is the definition of groundbreaking.
When it comes to aesthetic design, this game is perfect. Menus are simple, yet effective. The background of the main menu in specific shows gameplay that makes you pumped to play. The sound design has real bangars that always get you hyped for the next wave. The enemy design is minimalistic, but charming. The levels in the game all have a charm to them in a different way. From the dark lighting of the asteroid, to the minimalistic style of the fall, every level feels different from the last. The voice acting has tons of personality and sets a tone for the rest of the game. Even the towers all shoot bright bullets that feel really satisfying to watch tear down the enemies. Also the doggo is really cute I wish I could pet him.
Another category that this game nails is gameplay. The fact that the enemies do not move on a track but freely move around makes the game a lot more tense and strategic. They also teach you how it works very effectively, as there is not just a tutorial, but also in the first wave of the first level, you are unable to place anything but walls, which allows you to examine how the level works as the premade turrets kill the enemies. The game also features a difficulty changer, in case you're having trouble. These factors make the game extremely user friendly and fun for both casual and competitive gamers. But there is also a lot of depth in the game's core gameplay. Each turret has different strengths and weaknesses with some being very unique and hard to use. This is further cemented by how each map is very different from one another in terms of structure and strategy. This gives different towers different uses depending on what level you are playing on. The walls give even more depth because you can use them to block certain points of the map and make greater use out of towers. But guess what, it does not even stop there, as different towers are better at dealing with different enemies, adding another variable that should influence your decision making. This brings me to my next point, the enemies. The enemies vary greatly and each are threatening in their own way. Some even have very interesting abilities, such as the one that can eat other enemies for more health. These varied enemy types force you to be prepared for anything, and be able to adapt quickly.
All in all, Scuffed Tower Defense is one of the best games this century and should go down in gaming history as having revolutionized the tower defense genre. With how impressive the game currently is, I am eagerly awaiting the full version to be released and am excited for the future of this game. Some people may think it's too early in the year to say this, but this game is already my pick for game of the year 2021. Thank you Otis Anderson for blessing us with the godsend of a game.
