So several different people downvoted the reviewer who called this a Las Vegas Strip simulator. Guess what? It's a pretty accurate if simplistic description. You're in a small apartment (or hotel) and you're shooting people or aliens or cars or whatever down below while some aliens occasionally come walking up to you in your apartment (the cops). You have an AR (no bump stock) and a sniper rifle to start off. I think you have unlimited ammo, but I didn't get very far because of my small roomspace.
I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers and it played fine without any problems. You do need a roomscale setup (small space will suffice) though to grab things around you. You will need to learn how to reload your gun. I would practice that after you kill the two aliens coming behind you. They make a sound when they are near you. After you die, you go to some type of purgatory. You can shoot up the place or just go to the door and retry the scenario.
It's a pixelated world. But the guns actually felt nice. The sniper rilfe especially. You really have to aim properly to get on target. You can cause quite the mayhem in a short amount of time. It's nice seeing the vehicles go up on flames. This is a nice stress reliever for VR for psychopaths.

Three modes: 1) Window sniper: Shoot everything, using the Assault Rrifle since the sniper rifle is buggy and can't be reloaded. As far as I can tell, the only enemies that actually threaten you, are the two aliens that come in, rarely, from the front door. Very easy! 2) Forest wave shooter: You have tow shotguns, and the aliens aproarch along three distinct paths. 3) Sewer melee: Eventually, they come from both sides, and that can be pretty intense, until you realize you can just hold your weapon straight out, and they'll run right into it.
Sort of strange style, not sure what the intended audience is; it's too violent for me to let kids play, but too goofy to be taken seriously by adults.
I got this as part of a bundle. If I had paid the full $5, I'd give it thumbs: down. I'm right on the fence on this one, but for the effort they put into it, and the price I got it for, will give it thumbs: UP!
