If you're pining to learn about America and its culture, this game will sum it up quite nicely for you.

When I first played Broforce in 2019, all I did was complete the normal campaign. The game left a lasting impression on me, and I always wanted to come back "because it made me laugh". I played it then in multiplayer, the ideal way to play the game. I decided to come back to it 6 years later in 2025 to get all the achievements from a singleplayer perspective.
I didn't fully know what I was getting myself into when I decided to finish Broforce, but It ended up being the hardest game I have ever 100%, with over 90 hours spent on the deathless achievement alone.
Despite the game being super brutal and unforgiving at times, Broforce is a game that I wholeheartedly can recommend to any challenge seekers and even to casual players. Even when doing deathless runs and dying unfairly, I still had fun the entire time.

I don't generally write reviews, but this game deserved one. Also because I love freedom

This game does not go easy on you. The first few levels have you thinking that the rest of the game will be a cakewalk, but then you resort to only using a select few characters that you know might just give you a chance to beat that pink Alaskan bull worm.

BROFORCE is what happens when someone watches every 80s and 90s action movie in a single weekend and then makes a video game about it while still running on adrenaline and Mountain Dew.
I played this forever ago and I'm still thinking about it. Not because of some deep narrative or artistic vision. Because I unlocked a parody of Chuck Norris and roundhouse-kicked a helicopter. Because I found a Rambo knockoff and mowed down an entire jungle. Because every single time I thought "okay, there can't possibly be MORE characters," the game pulled another bro out of its back pocket like a magician who refuses to stop.
The sound design slaps. The levels are built to be destroyed, and trust me, you will destroy them, sometimes on purpose, sometimes because you accidentally blew up the floor you were standing on. I'm terrible at sidescrollers and this game had zero sympathy for that. Died constantly. Had a blast constantly.
But those characters, man. Each bro has completely different abilities and that's the whole magic trick. You're not just replaying levels, you're replaying them as a different action movie.
Join the Broforce. Blow stuff up. Ask questions never.

Don't be fooled by the graphics.
I had this gifted from a friend, laying in my library for almost a decade, finally decided to play it. It's an amazing game, absolutely hilarious and very fun. I couldn't stop playing. It fked my sleep schedule. Haven't gotten around to trying MP, but single player was crazy amazing on it's on. Highly reccomend trying it, you won't regret it.

One of the all time greatest games ever. I would LOVE if they either kept adding to it, or came out with a followup.
