How to catch Duneboppers, Prismatic Shrimp, and Robot Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Duneboppers are fish featured in the "A Rift in Time" expansion in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players aiming to complete Goofy's Friendship Quest, "The Ones That Got Away," need to catch two of them. While not particularly challenging, some fans may encounter difficulties in locating the required Duneboppers. This guide is intended to clarify the situation, providing players with detailed information on how to catch Duneboppers.

In addition to Duneboppers, this guide includes information on two other fish - the Robot Fish and Prisma Shrimp - the search for which can also be challenging for many players.

Duneboppers

Players in search of Duneboppers should focus on the Oasis, an area within the "Glittering Dunes" biome. To access this biome, players must progress through Jafar's Story Quests in the "A Rift in Time" expansion and spend 6,000 Mist to clear the path to the Oasis of swirling rocks. The exact location of this blockade is depicted on the map and image below. Merlin will assist in removing the blockade once the required amount of Mist has been accumulated.

Upon entering the Oasis, players should look for a blue ripple pool in the water, as it is the exclusive source of Duneboppers. Players concentrating on completing "The Ones That Got Away" quest can disregard any white or orange ripples encountered in the Oasis.

Robot Fish

After capturing two Duneboppers, players may want to locate other fish required to complete Goofy's quest. One of these is the Robot Fish, found in orange ripple pools throughout the "Ancient's Landing" biome. Players may already be familiar with this aquatic creature, as it plays a crucial role in the "Flying Metal Nuisance" quest in the "A Rift in Time" expansion.

Another "fish" catching Goofy's interest is the Prisma Shrimp, which can be caught in the Grove, an area within the "Wild Tangle." Similar to the Duneboppers' habitat, players will need to spend Mist to access the Grove. Specifically, 4,000 Mist is required, meaning fans should anticipate spending at least 10,000 Mist before completing "The Ones That Got Away" Friendship Quest.
