The secret of what happened in Amnesia: The Bunker can be uncovered by studying the diaries and notes found inside. Additionally, you will unlock the "Librarian" achievement if you find and read all 52 notes. In this guide, we will focus on the first 11 notes hidden within the Central Bunker area. The locations and methods of obtaining the notes are described below.
Note №1: The Cause of Amnesia
As soon as the main character wakes up in the hospital, they can obtain the first note. To do this, they need to get out of bed and proceed to the room on the right. The note will be waiting on the table.
Note №2: Clemens' Diary - Agony
Next to the table, there will be another door. When exiting through it, turn right. Going around the corner, you will see a partially open door with two cabinets. The note can be found in the right cabinet.
Note №3: Reinhardt's Autopsy Protocol
Go back to the corridor and continue moving forward. On the left, there is the next door. Enter and search the table inside.
Note №4: Memo from the Office Manager Regarding Tokens
To obtain the next note, you need to have a gun. Return to the green door, located to the right of the cafeteria door, and shoot the lock. Proceed to the administrative office. The note will be waiting on the table.
Note №5: Rats and Burned Corpses
In the same room, search the table near the entrance. The note will be right on it.
Note №6: Do Not Turn off the Light!
Find the staircase leading to the Generator room. After going down, search the workbench boxes next to it. The note will be in one of them.
Note №7: Fuel and Fire
To the right of the workbench, the next note is hanging on the door frame.
Note №8: How the Hell to Get out of Here.
Near the generator, there is a dead body. Pick up their token. Find the code for the door located opposite the one used to enter the administrative office. After opening the door, turn right. You will see a cabinet on which the detonator and note are placed.
Note №9: Clemens' Diary - No News
Proceed to the Strategic Storage room. There are two ways to get inside: blow up the door or crawl through the ventilation shaft located to the right of the door. Once inside, find the soldier's locker named "H. CLEMENT." The note will be lying in front of it.
To obtain the remaining two notes, you need to learn the codes for Clement's and Lambert's lockers. They are written on their tokens.
Note №10: Clemens' Diary - Routine
Head to the Soldier's Quarters. In Dorm "B," locate the bed with the inscription "H. CLEMENT." The token with the code is right on it. Return to the Strategic Storage room, open the corresponding locker, and retrieve the note.
Note №11: Lambert's Journal - Part 2
This token is located in the crater where we find Lambert in the early episodes of the game. For more details on how to get there, refer to the article "Amnesia: The Bunker - How to Find the Rabbit and Unlock Two Achievements."
Once you know the code, return to the Strategic Storage room to open Lambert's locker. Inside, you will find the final note for the Central Bunker area.
