The wrench is a necessary tool for progressing in Amnesia: The Bunker. With this item, you can unscrew the bolts on ventilation grates to access specific rooms. Obtaining the wrench is not easy, but we will guide you through the process.
Mission Storage.
The tool is located in the Mission Storage compartment, inside the personal locker of a person named F. Stafford. The locker is locked with a combination lock, and the code is generated individually. The lock code is written on the owner's token. The first clue will be waiting for you in the brigadier's cabin, where you will find a note stating that F. Stafford is in the Pillbox.
First, you need to reach Mission Storage. To do this, navigate the tunnel between the Workshop and the corridor to the Pillbox. Along the way to the workshop, you will encounter numerous stretches. Be careful and jump over them.
The Tunnel.
Inside the tunnel, there are many rats. You can get rid of them in several ways. By using gasoline, a torch, or a lighter, you can burn the body lying on the floor. By using gasoline bombs, you can burn the body in a way that will make the rats leave permanently. Additionally, you can take some meat from the meat pantry located in front of the Workshop. By throwing the meat, you can momentarily distract the rats.
Next to the locked door to the bunker, you can find a note. It states that the key is with the priest. Return to the entrance of the Storage, turn left, and proceed to the Chapel.
The Chapel.
You need to find the body of the priest, which is lying in one of the confessionals. On the windowsill, you will find the key.
After picking up the key, the Beast will return to the chapel. Hide and wait for it to leave. Once it's gone, return to the Pillbox and unlock the door.
As you ascend, you will discover the body of F. Stafford, shot dead. Take the token lying next to him. Examine it to find the code and unlock the "Memorialist" achievement. Proceed to Mission Storage and open the locker. Inside, you will find the wrench waiting for you.
