A brave escape from the cold grip of communism.
Freedom and peace are never simply granted.
The road to freedom is, indeed, always a hard one.

If you've played wither Inside or Limbo and are looking for something with the same look and feel then Black the Fall is a must.
There's now much to say except its a great game. Not too long, interesting puzzles and a distinctive colour pallet.

Black The Fall is an atmospheric puzzle-platformer with a unique history-inspired theme, loosely based on Romania’s uprising against communism, though it's set in a dystopian future. The moody visuals and immersive world really stand out, especially for a Unity game. However, some puzzles were a bit unclear and could have used better direction. It’s great to see this small Romanian studio continuing to thrive, with their new game Aska now in early access—exciting times ahead!

A game with the same platforming style, dystopian vision and dark humour of LIMBO and INSIDE.
The brutal, mechanical world is boldly brought to life through the graphics, the puzzle set-pieces are plausible, the robot buddy you meet along the way is charming. And every so often, if you're not paying attention to the cues you're given, you'll be splattered by giant robots patrolling in the background. It's fun. But the ending is somewhat abrupt; it doesn't feel like you planned to do that when you set out that day, it's just how the developers made the game end.
Overall, it's entertaining for a few hours.

I enjoyed this game. No dialogue. Just some dude who's had enough of the party's nonsense, and decides he'll make a break for freedom past a bunch of metal gears and environmental puzzles. It's not a long game, but it's also not expensive. I'd like to see more from this development team.

It's a puzzle game that's a around 3.25 hours long for 100% achievements. It's got some interesting puzzles and I enjoyed the environment. It can be a little buggy. When you die, because you will, it's very forgiving and has a chapter select to replay certain parts and get missing achievements.
I wouldn't give a thumbs up if I had paid $15 for this game. I got it on sale and it was worth the price if you enjoy puzzle games. Keep in mind this game is likely 1.5 to 5 hours depending on your problem solving abilities and how many bugs you encounter.

The atmosphere of this game is its greatest strength. The puzzles are tinker toys and the story is cohesively abstract. The surface of it being a dude overthrowing but the deep would suggest certain tools and logic leaps to get there. But really it is the atmosphere where this game shines. If you are deaf, there is one part inaccessible to you (Unless they provide haptic feedback for controller users. I don't know off hand.) that I'll try to describe.
It is completely dark. You are led only by the sound of steam pipe's rhythmic and erratic hissing. Your footsteps stop echoing as you try to accurately detect depth and patterns. Are you tentative? Shyly inching forward? Are you short distance bolting with confidence and ease? It made me understand what they were trying to do.
Who ever knows how to lead a revolution, yeah? You're fumbling with confidence sometimes, Best decisions based on what you know and how best to execute it. Lots of people got it wrong. A few got lucky. Maybe even fewer got it right. So you're solving a puzzle against obstacles that keep changing and how well can you adapt with what you find to use. That coffin scene too bro...
Anyway, this review kinda got away from me. Point is, yeah I liked it and maybe I read deeper into than I was supposed to. *shrugs*
