In this magic battle action game, take part in 4-on-4 team battles and cast an array of magic spells to defeat the opposing team. You can assume one of four roles: Fighter, Healer, Support, Ranged. Use your role and spells to the best possible effect, and cooperate with your teammates to win the battle! This game also includes an original story not depicted in the currently airing Black Clover anime series. Yami Sukehiro, the captain of Asta's knight order, the Black Bulls, suddenly grows younger, just as a mysterious mage launches an attack on the Clover Kingdom. Join Asta and his friends as they embark on a new adventure of trials and tribulations.

Shockingly not a horrible game, but you can tell they knew it was going to be dead since they implemented AI opponents for the online multiplayer. Thankfully for achievement hunters this makes it easy to start a match and win, but I do wonder how it would’ve been against real players.

The core combat — blending flashy magic spells, fluid aerial mobility, and objective-based team play — truly shines when coordination clicks. Pulling off well-timed abilities, protecting key teammates, and executing strategic pushes together makes each match feel energetic and rewarding, especially when your squad works as a cohesive unit.

Weird choice to make it a Hero Shooter but it's a good one, arguably better than most anime arena fighters even. Definitely not worth full price but if you see it on sale for under 20 which it seems to go for pretty frequently I do recommend it for fellow Black Clover fans or those who happen to have friends to play with.
I thought the original story was surprisingly good at least for Yami as it adds a lot to his backstory and characterization even if the campaign is pretty short. Best of all It's entirely completable solo thanks to bots filling in for missing players in matchmaking, completionists rejoice.

If you love Black Clover, this game is a blast! The 4v4 battles are fast-paced, and each character feels true to the anime with unique abilities. Playing with friends is super fun, and pulling off ultimate moves never gets old. The graphics are colorful and capture the anime perfectly. Sure, single-player is limited, but the online matches more than make up for it. Highly recommend for fans of the series

I expected i might not like the game, but i do, especially because of Yami and Asta. the models in-game are very well done, and i liked the story somewhat even if a bit silly, too bad Yami's garb custome is locked behind a dlc, that's okay though, i remember getting the game on a very big discount, but i think the price of the game is too much for what it is, the story campaign is very short (i finished in about 4 hours or so) and that's for both Asta's and Yami's perspectives. also i tried going on online matches for few achievements i wanted but the game couldn't find a matchup with anyone, unsure if because of region or whichever but yeah. regardless even if short, i like it.

Wouldn’t recommend buying it at full price, but at 90% off it’s pretty solid.
The story is way too short and too easy — I played on Hard and even did replays with different characters for achievements. Took me about 2 hours total, and both main epilogues were around 10 minutes each. The second story adds roughly the same amount of playtime.
Online mode exists, but it’s mostly bots — still, 100% achievement completion is possible if you grab the DLCs.
It honestly feels like Overwatch on crack, but the bots are surprisingly competent.
*Little side note: I met only one actual player in 15 online matches.
