The wait is over! Rash, Zitz and Pimple are returning at last to smash-hit their way through an all-new action-packed adventure of choreographed chaos, and couch co-op may never be the same again. 1-3 players will take control of the Battletoads and team up to storm through wild and unpredictable stages with only one rule – expect the unexpected. Teamwork makes the dream work in a drop-in, drop-out gameplay blast, filled with over-the-top gameplay moments that anyone can enjoy, but only a True ‘Toad’ can master. With a unique hand-animated cartoon style and packed with memorable characters and locations, the Battletoads are back for a larger-than-life brawl across the universe that promises to be fun alone, and unforgettable together.

It's not a bad game per say and you can tell they put some effort in. But half the time you'll be asking yourself what they were thinking and why they thought anyone wanted this from Battletoads.
Very tentative recommend if you know what you're getting into.

Allright, so for those of you who didn't know. This isn't a new franchise. It's from the NES days (all tho the last entry was in 1994) And it matters because of the story hints at just that (26 years in a simulation bunker) and it also matter because it's not built like a common "beat them up" we know today. Rather it's true to their first format in the fighting. All tho the graphics are wildly better all tho also more comical it fits with the style of story Battletoads is. It's funny, and the characters persona is still pretty on point. All tho they were a little more 90's badass but funny back in 91 on nes obviously. But it's not a bad thing they've chosen to make battletoads this way, since it becomes a little more different then playing another "turtles copy". Say what you want friends, enemy and counterstrike russians. But this game is well worth the money (Yes it's a bit short, i'll give ya'll that). 9/10 TOADSTERS.

I've been a fan since I first played it on the Genesis! It's not quite as brutal as the old school Battletoads, but mainly because of the forgiving use of checkpoints and unlimited tries of the level... I just played through it on the "battletoads" difficulty and it was plenty challenging for me and well worth a few play throughs!

Worst voice acting I heard in years and the humor didn't really hit it with me. But besides that pretty solid platformer. I give it a 6/10. The platforming part is 9/10 though for me.

I've never played the original so I don't have anything to compare it to but this is a fun arcade beat 'em up with a touch of late 80's, early 90's comedy and animation. Fun game with some pretty challenging areas which can get pretty aggravating.

A good game with great comedic writing and a nice Saturday morning cartoons aesthetic.

Battletoads was fun. The Cutscenes were funny. The game is difficult. It was fun with friends. I liked this game. I got it for 4$CAD at some point, and I would say that it was worth that price for sure. It is so corny that it was fun.
