Barbarian Souls
It’s time to attack! The barbarians are invading different parts of the world, and it’s up to you to stop them. Leave no one alive.
Barbarian Souls drew inspiration from the combat system of Dark Souls. To survive, you must fight, defend yourself, or avoid enemy blows. You are armed only with your sword (to beat your enemies) and your shield (to block attacks). Be careful not to get injured too badly—you don’t have time or potions to heal your wounds. Approach enemies with caution or they will kill you easily.
This is an action game that you must fight to survive, defend or avoid enemy blows and attack at the right time.
In this game, you must defend and evade to be able to successfully complete your missions. If you don’t use your shield to defend OR your legs to avoid enemy attacks, you will be no match for your enemies.
Travel through the land to face and defeat the barbarians, encountering different environments, forests, deserts, mountains, castles, villages, and much more.
Begin your journey to conquer the world.
Key Features

Game commands are very simple (Left Mouse Button to attack, Right Mouse Button to defend, more instructions provided in the game)

Find and kill all enemies to proceed. If you have difficulty finding all enemies, press ‘V’ to use the tracker option, which will allow you to find enemies easily.

15 Buckeroonies for this game is criminal.
But for 99 cent it's not that bad just your average W T F slop game experience for an hour lol, people came in expecting some kind of Barbarian themed Souls like at that original price point hence the mostly negative reviews.
You run around various vistas and settings as some clearly Gladiator looking dude fighting Viking larper MFRs with janky combat, terrible NPC awareness, path finding etc for 5 to 15 levels and or an hour and you're done.
Devs, lower it to a couple euro and make it 99c more often so people get a more vague idea of what to expect. Also deducting points for zero OST whatsoever not even some generic royalty free medieval or orchestral music to be seen. Silver lining being you can open a media player or browser for some Pagan, Black or Power Metal and turn your brain off in a mindless romp! Whatever your heart desires too IDGAF.
No OST was the thing that disapointed me, that aside I was mostly pleasantly suprised for half the price of a can of gut rot. 6/10 SERVICABLE Sub Euro Asset flip SLOP game.
