All My Gods is a really addicting casual game which I enjoyed playing. Based off Ancient Roman Gods and mythology, you strive to sit among the Gods which is why you try to prove yourself by building a city and monuments in their name. It's a mix of the Caesar games, Age of Empires and Civilisation.
You build buildings, which gets you resources to build more building. Complete various quests, to get gold and progress along. Nothing seemed too slow or too fast, each day is roughly 45 seconds which is when you get your resources replenished. It is all about balance, and everything is possible to complete.
Although the game didn't have much customisation, in which you couldn't rotate buildings, so it was a matter of just fitting them all in (especially by the end of the game, when you're aiming for the final approval of the Gods). The building felt quite preset in a way.
I found it very fun, completed it in about 5-6 hours over a couple of weeks. It's nice to pick up when you're short of time or waiting on something. The game though, does not have much replayability and when all the quests are complete you have the option of doing Freeplay, which is just filling out Market and Dock quests and repairing buildings and putting out fires or you can choose to restart and create a new player.
Overall, it was quite enjoyable. The game was relaxing and unwinding and I could just pick up and play whenever I had the spare time. The resources weren't too hard to get and it definitely did not feel too long like other building games out there where it feels like a constant grind at a certain level. I honestly, highly recommend this game for the reasons above.

It's seems like an average game, but very addictive, because it's mixed of Civilization, Populous and Caesar games. I never expected this! :)

Fun little city builder/resource management game that reminds me of the Facebook games of yore (minus the pesky need to bug your friends)
It took a few hours before I gained enough land and mana to actually arrange the buildings the way I wanted, but that’s okay. I almost quit 1 hour in, but I'm glad I stuck with it.
Wish there were Steam Achievements, this game is perfect for them.

Quaint city builder where you are trying to win the approval of all the Roman gods in order to become a god yourself. I completed the game in about 5 hours. The game gives you quests that first act as a tutorial and then as general guidance. As part of the story, you keep courting Venus, which pisses Mars off and gets his mommy Hera involved. This has the effect of making the game become a bit tedious towards the end. You have to keep putting out fires from Mars tantrums and repair buildings from Hera's thunder fits.
The problem is that you end up having a lot of buildings all crammed together since space is somewhat precious, especially in the beginning. Trying to spot which building needs to have a fire put out or be repaired gets to be a somewhat trying after a few hours of Mars and Hera attacks. The sooner you can get the Trojan horse at the East most point of the map, the better, since that finally quiets Mars down. Then Hera can be calmed down with a large enough bribe.
This means you need to have at least the trading post and lot of the production buildings going so you can have a constant export of trade. Once you have this in place, and later get the port, you have pretty much an endless source of gold. I highly recommend to build as many shrines and temples, fully upgraded, as soon as you can. Nothing beats being able to scoop whatever resources you happen to need whenever you want. Having enough little devoted followers means your divine mana replenishes very quickly. Towards the end I was pretty much spamming the divine hand whenever I need it. This was very unlike the beginning where you have to be very conservative with how you use it since initially it takes forever to refill.
Overall, this game was fairly enjoyable. It doesn't really have any replay value once you finish it, since it really doesn't have much depth in terms of strategy. Once you understand what you need to do, there really isn't much of a challenge. The fun aspect to playing this game in this discovery of what each of the buildings do, and then the final challenge in building each of the seven wonders.

Addictive blend of RTS and Hero of the Kingdom style of play. Well executed, though sometimes tedious.

Not too bad. It was kinda short. And the amount of times you get attacked got ridiculous, but overall it was a cute game. I might play through it again. I do like that you can continue to play after you beat it with everything you opened up. That was a plus for me.

This is a pretty addicting little game. I was hoping it'd be longer, and with more customization to how things were built, but that was just the optimist in me. Like most time management games, the levels are effectively largely pre-planned for you going in, with little real option for where to put what even if it seems fairly wide open when you first start the level. Really, this could have been a much bigger and more ambitious game, and it would have been amazing, but it's still good for what it is and at the price point it's offered for.
