Randal’s Monday
A kleptomaniac, a sociopath and a horrible friend. Randal is potentially one of the most scurrile protagonists since the invention of the hoverboard. Randal's Monday is a crazy space-time odyssey in classic adventure design, spiced up with countless geek culture references of the last 30 years. Randal wakes up after the engagement party of his best friend Matt; he's ridden by a raging hangover and also has Matt's wallet in his possession. Inside the wallet is his engagement ring and without thinking of the consequences, Randal sells the ring – and thus gets struck by a terrible curse. Matt commits suicide and now Randal is forced to relive the same ill-fated Monday over and over, trying to undo his mistake. Randal needs to retrieve the ring and sort his own life out, before things get any worse… Collapsing the whole space-time continuum-kinda-worse, in fact.

The game gets pretty bad at times but what did people expect if the game is still pretty green it's because it was their first game and the studio closed a long time ago but hey it's sad to think sometimes how a group of people have their wings clipped for not creating a masterpiece on their first try

A great game. I did not love it the first time, but 6 years later I managed to beat it without looking at a walkthrough.
Every puzzle can be solved in a logical illogical way. Try to remember other quests you've played when you get stuck. Or realize that this is not a serious game and everything is possible.
Listen to the dialogue. There are always hints. Appreciate the logical absurdity of the game. Become Randal.
Great quest. I haven't enjoyed a Point & Click title in a very long time. Thank you, Randal.

Randal’s Monday is a gem for fans of dark humor and classic point-and-click games. The sarcastic dialogue and endless pop culture references make it feel like it was made for nerds like me. The puzzles are challenging but fair, and the time-loop plot keeps you guessing. It’s witty, chaotic, and ridiculously fun!

After the first few chapters you have to play with a walk-through in another tab because the game expects you to make insane devices that any rational person would predict failing, and then when you use the gizmos in the game they don't work, so i really don't know what they were thinking.
If you don't mind that, I fucking love this bullshit lmao. It's not a good game by any means, but the art is fun, and its just hysterical. Maybe not in the intentional way, but HAL9000 from Space Odyssey directly quoting GlaDOS while quizzing you directly on STAR WARS with silly trick questions before malfunctioning and singing Daisy Bell is just, so many layers. While just a short walk away theres a man selling Crab juice and Khlav Kalash... I just can't fathom what they were thinking.
Game had me going "Can they do that???" over and over, in a way that no other game has. It literally has Peter Griffin and Bender as figures in the backgrounds of the comic shop. They put Jay and silent Bob in here, and literally got Jay to voice him. My husband had to pause the game several times to compare the backgrounds to sets of Seinfeld, big bang theory, its so stupid.
It's the most derivative game I have ever played - and yet it contains such an insane and interesting take on the groundhog day time-loop. It had me totally hooked even though the puzzles made no fucking sense. If you're down for the story and art then go for it, but I can't recommend it for the puzzles ofcourse, but its a great laugh.

It's like a more sarcastic version of the Deponia-series: same art-style, different characters. To me it felt slow and sluggish to get through the story, but let’s be fair: I’m clearly not in the target group (picking up the game for a pretty penny then attacking it completionist-style). Some of the achievements are so specific that you either need to follow a guide in order to get them or be willing to spend an extended amount of time in-game figuring out various puzzles.
