Reclaim the Sea is a roguelike strategy game inspired by Faster Than Light, set in a steampunk fantasy atmosphere. Your goal is to save the World by fighting your way through dangerous seas. You will encounter each time different ships from many factions and face tough decisions. Will you defend this civilian ship attacked by pirates … or will you take advantage of its weakened position ? If you engage in a fight, you will have many options: taking down the enemy crew, burning or sinking their ship, stay at long range and play defensively or engage at close range… Each game is unique thanks to randomly generated ships and maps.
Key Features:
- Command your crew. Order your crew to move in the ship to accomplish all the required tasks : charge weapon, pilot the ship, charge the steam overdrive, repair the ship and many more.
- Gain power through the game with new weapons, devices, ship upgrades, and powerful unique figureheads.
- Upgrade everything and sharpen your builds to be able to defeat the bosses
- Choose your path wisely in a random generated universe
- Hire new crew members from different species on your way and help them gain XP and skills.

Great game, like FTL but pirate themed. systems seem good so far and definitely worth the price. Played the demo a little before jumping in. Few bugs I reported were fixed within 2 hours. Awesome game highly recommend

The fairly similar game mechanics makes this game a Naval FTL. Explore zones with the enemy on your heels.
Several ships to unlock through achievements, from a dinky raft to warships. All sorts of cannons that you can buy and upgrade in balance with buffing your ship.
Play however suits you best. Sink ships from afar or get close and board them.
Or maybe you want to see the world burn, set ships on fire and watch as they light up the horizon.
Assemble your crew with a ragtag bunch of scoundrels, form an elite Elven crew or just completely automate your ship with automatic cannons and automatons.
The developer is on top of the game with regular bug fixes and new content coming up.
Pick this game up when you get the chance, you won't regret it.

Really fun, but not much to experience that wasn't in the demo. Obviously, there are 5 stages and there are boss fights, but the game feels pretty much like the demo. There are new weapons, some new random events and scenarios to play through, but that's about it. I hope this game continues to develop but right now, I'd say you get just a little bit more of an experience with the full game vs. the free demo.

Game is fun but easy, also needs more random encounters or different events but still good/fun game

Great game if you love FTL. Bugs are patched the day after they are reported and more contents will follow soon.

This is Early Access, right? No?? Seriously?! :D
Well you better put some work into it then. ;)
Because the basics are quite fun, but sadly it lags alot of content!
It feels like theres only a handfull of Events and every sector is almost like the others.
Its ok for the price... but it could be so much more! :)

Not good, not bad, its mixed.
The game itself is not exciting but the UI and the overall concept of the game doesn't feel finished.
I played 30 minutes
I guess i was spoiled by Void War and other high quality ftl clones. Ftl legends is a great mode as well.
Some issues: the unlock system is trash, there are no objectives, no clear way to become stronger, not enough information on crew stats, ship stats and location info.
The crew models are low quality and generic to say the least. Void war manages to made all unita very easy to identify even if the models are lower resolution.
The difficulty levels are a complete joke, the harder difficulty just means you get less resources makig the game not fun at all since you need food and ammo constantly.
The game is somewhat fun but it seems made out of generic store bought assets.
I would consider this game early access and even for the low price, you will get bored in 5 hours.
I will give it a positive review to encourage the dev to work more on the game
