Voodoo Vince Remastered
The classic character platformer is back for the first time in over 13 years, and now in glorious high definition! Vince’s adventure takes him from the streets of New Orleans to the depths of a Louisiana bayou to find the whereabouts of his keeper, Madam Charmaine. In true voodoo style, Vince encounters and defeats quirky monsters and villains … by kicking his own butt! By racing under a falling safe, jumping into a high-speed blender, or leaping under falling rubble, Vince is sure to defeat his enemies—all while managing to escape completely unscathed. Voodoo combat action: Players can employ more than 30 voodoo attacks that do outrageous things to Vince, but it's the monsters who end up hurting! Unlike in other games, players must actually USE dangers and hazards, instead of running from them. Falling safes, prickly pushpins, and bolts of lightning bring a whole new meaning to the phrase "no pain, no gain."

Solid platformer that does have its fair share of annoyences such as not always properly explaining how to beat a boss or how to beat some level hazards. And some platforming can be a bit clunky but overall I like the game. It had a uniq artsyle, good jokes, solid controls, fun levels and a really great soundtrack. for 10 dollars I think the game is definantly worth it.

A game from that weird and short lived era where the original xbox was new and developers were taking advantage of the new hardware by going with that photo realistic texture look, coupled with old school 3D level design.

The nostalgia runs heavy with this one. I played this game as a kid on my dad's Xbox. I spent YEARS looking for it when I got older, and finally, I found it on steam. The remaster is easier to figure out (granted I was six when I played it last) but just as fun as ever. The game has a snazzy setting, a snarky main character, and is a genuinely good time.

very good, plays better than I remembered. the end game is a little bit headache inducing but I'll forgive it since this game is so old. The ost and visual direction of this game is very nostalgic as well. 8.5/10

Silly sarcastic spooky buoy vibes. I have vague memories of playing it one times as a kid and so picked this up. It's pretty fun but can feel a bit long.

This game is so FUN! I didn't play this before buying but It gives off such strong nostalgia.
Voodoo Vince has the magic of things from my childhood it's bleeding passion/whimsy,but it's unique with it's themes,locations, and protagonist.
If you like platformers this is one of the best on steam period and you need to experience it like yesterday

I came back to Voodoo Vince mostly for nostalgia, and it’s just as good - if not better - than I remember. The story is simple, the objective is clear, and the witty dialogue still holds up.
I appreciate there is now a solid set of achievements, and it’s a great trip down memory lane that’s worth experiencing again (or for the first time).
