This game is something else.
First off, if you're looking for a good Jackbox-style party game - this one is a great pick. Even if you're not a fan of Rifftrax - or its inspiration, the legendary Mystery Science Theater 3000 - the basic concept of this title is party game goodness.
The premise is simple: each round, a movie clip is shown - a clip from a film the guys from Rifftrax have already mocked in the past - and each player submits their own joke as if they were writers for two famed riffing groups. Then, every player (and, like Jackbox titles, the audience) votes on which riff is their favorite (or their top three if the host selects a tiered voting system). As one would expect, the player with the most points at the end, you know, wins.
Rifftrax: The Game benefits from having the staff of the series involved - as well as including content from the... well, "show" isn't accurate but, for lack of a better word, "show." Of course, fans who have seen these clips before playing the game will be tempted to use the same jokes - I know *I* can't watch the original 2012 Avengers film without hearing Mike, Kevin, and Bill's jokes in my head - but this also a game that encourages creativity, so I can't image this being an issue for anyone save for, like, I dunno... ten people?
If you don't have a handful of people in your living room to play with you (no matter what format you play on, everyone involved can play using their smartphone), Rifftrax: The Game also offer a "matchmaking" system of sorts. Select "Join" when starting a new game, and you can, well, join an existing game running online. Be warned, though - humor is subjective and joining a session with people you don't know can subject you to jokes you might... well, it's online gaming, so you're gonna get some gross folks.
All in all, this is a GREAT party game and more than worth the reasonable price.

My friends and I have absolutely loved our time with this. It's simple, but it's always a blast. Props for including movies like Suburban Sasquatch, too!

This is a fun game, especially when you can add custom clips. Wide Right Interactive, please add a more user-friendly method of adding custom clips. This would be awesome. We love our custom clips. Perhaps even add a new function to add custom lines for RiffBot.

Tons of fun if you have some friends with a sense of humor as warped as your own. Ever watch MST3K or watch movies with friends and provide your own snarky commentary track? This game is for you. It has easily become my favorite party game.
