This tense survival horror game plunges you into a vast, procedurally generated underground world, where every move is a fight for survival. With a top-down perspective, you'll manage not only your character's health but also oxygen, temperature, hunger, and even sleep and bathroom breaks. Base management offers brief relief, but the constant need for resources drives you back into the terrifying unknown. The game’s blend of intense resource management and unpredictable exploration creates a uniquely stressful experience, perfect for fans of the genre.

One of the most stressful games out there.
It's not the monster who beat you. It's their numbers.
It's not the combat that is difficult to handle. It's your nerves.
It's not the resources that run out. It's the time.
Yes, it's an old game. But everything in it is so atmospheric, you can't help but immerse.

I've been having fun. I like collecting junk and recycling it to produce new stuff.
I've gotta play in little chunks with the light on though, 'cause I scare pretty easily.
It's cool that I get some idea of what's hiding behind the doors by what sounds are made. I don't like the giant spiders though. I'm arachnophobic.
Kinda wish that I could find some survivors or something, being alone all the time is getting to me.

My gun got too hotand I dropped it while I was surrounded by mutants and died.
I accidentally used the BFG when I mean to use the shotgun and died.
I didnt bring an extra O2 tank and died.
I let the infection rate grow to high and they attacked my generator. I died.
I love this game. Plays great on the Steam Deck.

Don't generally write reviews, especially on an 8 year old game, but just wanted to commend this game for doing what it does well. It's fairly simple in design, but it's challenging, creates a sense of progression as you go along and has just enough variety to keep you going. I've spent way more on games that I've put much less time in. Well worth it.

I,m really enjoying it so far there's a lot to keep up with at the beginning but when you do finally get whats going on the game is amazing :]

These devs are sneaky little geniuses, this game is fantastic! The top down style takes a bit of getting used to and things may get a little repetitive if you aren't careful with how you explore, but the game play and story are both pretty great!
Bring grenades.... bring ALL the grenades.
