If you wanna get a TBS game with endless humor, Pit People is for you.
I've forever been a groupie of Behemoth, savoring their humor that drops from the sky like anvils in a Looney Tunes episode, all while dressed in their over-the-top, crayon-colored antics. It's like they harnessed the power of absurdity and crammed it into their games. Some strange power prevented me from playing their next games. However, my desire was built up over the years, until the time has come for Pit People. So I told myself, “Well, I don’t wanna play a long game, lets pick it up and everything will be fine”. Oh boy I was wrong... Too much content as you can see from my playtime.
Plot
Well, the main story is shorter than a cat's attention span, but the side-quests, oh yes, the side-quests. There are more of them than you can shake a stick at – over 100. Each is filled with hilariously absurd tales turning your brain upside down. But the real gem is the main plot. What made me wet my pants are the boneheaded antics of the protagonists and everything about the antagonists, especially the narrator (the head honcho of bad guys). If Behemoth ever needs an extra narrator, they should totally give that guy a raise!
Tactics
Ok let’s talk about the gameplay for Honey’s sake. This game is like a wacky, turn-based strategy cartoon where your team and the enemies are placed on hexagons (who needs squares, anyway?).
Your teammates are a motley crew, ranging from humans with all sorts of wacky weapon abilities to creatures you capture, like some Pokémon fever dream. Some of the abilities include stabbing, stunning, freezing (aka stunning but with ice), smacking enemies like baseballs, creating EXPLOSIONS, and a whole lot more.
There are endless combinations you can do with the crew. But you can’t just pick anything from your dirty sleeves and expect to conquer the world. Especially not in Insane mode. Oh boy, this one really made me sweaty. You'll need a balanced, versatile team to face every threat under the sun (or the hexagon, as it were).
Quests
Now that you're a pro at assembling your squad, let's dive into the missions themselves. Most of the time, the objective is simple: "massacre them all." But you'll also come across missions like "protect those folks until X," "get to the other side pronto while tangling with foes," and a never-ending list of craziness. The main missions are even more unique and you can tell the developers worked on them like they had a bone-shaped biscuit dangling in front of their noses.
Multiplayer
I managed to snag 100% of the achievements, and let me tell you, the most challenging part was finding someone to play versus in the multiplayer. It is dead like the bear that crashed into our frail planet. However, if you find someone to play with (versus and even co-op) you will enjoy it even more than tackling Insane Mode.
If you've read this far, go ahead and grab the game. I can practically see you drooling at your dusty screen. Whether you're a newcomer to turn-based strategy games or have never encountered humor, "Pit People" is a wild ride you won't want to miss!

I would like to admit that the gameplay becomes stale. No sense of progression (that is visible) and it feels like I'm just playing the same units over and over again.
But the fun in the game is the story and the wacky unit combinations which could be bad or good.
and plz behemoth make more party games with 4 people, I miss the chaotic nights playing castle crashers with my cousins

I hate how most castle crashers fans don't check out other games made by behemoth. if they did they will definitely be obsessed with this outstanding, hilarious and creative game like i am. if your reading this review stop reading go play the game and fight some other players in the pit.
