Pit People

For a game called pit people you would think the game would use the pit more often, but It only comes up once in the main story, still peak though 11/10

Once you understand the game tricks, the game becomes very shallow and repetitive.
It's very short with small replayability.
I like the battleblock theater humour here though.
Would recommend on the cheap.

As a Behemoth fan (played Alien Hominid HD, Castle Crashers, Battleblock Teather and now this) I can say that this game has the same kind of effort and love all the other games got from the studio.
The soundtrack, style and narration are top-notch, and they heavily carry the game, and The Behemoth proves they can improve on the comedic style of their games. In my opinion, it's one of the better turn-based games of the 2010-2020 decade, and I finished this twice back in the Xbox One release.
However, the main complaint a lot of people had (and still have) is the fact that the game plays very differently from all the other Behemoth titles: this is the first one that is a turn-based strategy game. This is where the takes get spicy, because I acknowledge that turn-based strategy is not for everyone, and it will definitely filter a lot of people that are used to the other Behemoth titles.
If you are ok with turn-based strategy, do get this game, it's really fun and you can literally spend hundreds of hours on this. If you can't handle such gameplay, I'd recommend you to instead watch the story from YouTube, instead of comitting to the grind.

very fun turn based gameplay, amazing soundtrack, diverse team composition, large weapon selection, no micto transactions, all in all i would 100% recommend this game especially for its price.

This game is awesomesauce in almost all aspects, my only real issue is the fact you can't choose who your units attack which can be a pain and that one of the achievements is super grindy.
Would reccomend and would kill an entire retirement home of cupackes again.

A wonderfully wacky world with a ton of content. Actual gameplay is good, but not great. Main story alone is worth the $15, but the permadeath mode and sidequests are also fun.

I would like to admit that the gameplay becomes stale. No sense of progression (that is visible) and it feels like I'm just playing the same units over and over again.
But the fun in the game is the story and the wacky unit combinations which could be bad or good.
and plz behemoth make more party games with 4 people, I miss the chaotic nights playing castle crashers with my cousins
