I'm a returning player. I was playing it when it first came out but then life happened. Came back to the game about 2 months ago, while it hasn't had any updates in forever, it's still a great game with great players. They've all been super friendly and helpful. Come give the game a try! You can find me on Ceph in Grimm Haven.

This game is fun and similar to Minecraft, but better in my opinion.

I used to adore this game that had so much potential. The building was so much fun, with many different blocks, colors and chiseling options available. With 50 home worlds and countless sovereigns (planets rented by players) there was so much to discover and lots of amazing people to meet. Sure, some people were disappointed with lack of updates but the game still was perfectly playable and super fun.
Then Monumental stepped in a couple of years ago and bought the IP and this is where it started going downhill fast for me. Their so-called "community manager" has done a very poor job, in my opinion. At first we hoped that they could make the game even greater but all that seems to have happened is that innocent people have gotten banned, people's builds have been deleted for no reason etc.
Meanwhile the oh, so lovely community manager Tiggs is ignoring support emails and discord messages from both myself and other players.
Congratulations, Monumental! You completely managed to ruin a wonderful game.
Edit: My deleted builds have been recovered thanks to a rollback by the wonderful Jon-Eric. It's nice that Monumental finally has proper devs, which should have happened a long time ago. I hope they can clean up all the messes made by the community manager.
I will change my rating to a positive as this is still a very fun game. As long as staff don't abuse their powers, that is.

Pretty cool game! Like Minecraft/NoMan'sSky +
Totally ditched the oversimplified pixel art and the non-directional realism of each for a fun, creativity-fueling middle road.
Now, I DID have a little difficulty getting started out (AVOID going to dangerous worlds! If you plop a portal on the wrong one, press "E" instead of going through and try again. It'll warn you when you're looking through.), I was able to connect with an experienced friend, and he helped me relocate and get my feet under me.
Seems like a bit of a grind, but also seems like the work will be rewarding in the end.

'S fun - really fond of the artstyle, block chisel system and overall feel for the game itself
big fan of the regrowth system, and the community/town aspect of it all
Plus the lil creatures wandering about are really cute too

Quickly became one of my favorite games. It is relaxing and the Quests guide new players well. Great graphics as well. Highly highly recommended.

Like Minecraft but with proximity voice chat and skill trees. One thing that would make this game better is mod support.
