As a Dead Cells fan with 1800+ hours who still plays the Daily Challenges, I must say OVIS LOOP is the first game to give me comparable fun and pleasure. Build-building and gameplay-wise, it’s a mix of Astral Ascent and Skul: The Hero Slayer (both were close, but not quite as good). However, the mechanics are new, fresh, and - most importantly - they work. There’s room for improvement, and that’s exactly what Early Access is for. I’ll be checking updates and waiting for the release. Dead Cells fans, don't miss the opportunity to help create a masterpiece!

Game is AMAZING its literally everything i wanted albeit quite buggy in some aspects like the fact that when you close the game it still somehow stays running??? I have to actually stop it via steam. Some interfaces also just dont work initially until you like spam them a few times or jump in and out of them but outside of that the games incredible Ive been waiting for this one forEVER and i do not regret hopping onto it for early access.

Quite a fun little roguelite game. Much more so than it looked on the videos. I skipped over it when it first came out, but the good review scores got me interested.
This is definitely a bit more of a button masher than most action games... at least to begin with. But there's a lot of fun here. The action stages are really rewarding, the music is rocking... the combat is super chaotic and wild but also just plain fun. You feel really powerful (until you hit the mini boss!)
This game uses a traditional roguelike road map layout, similar to Slay the Spire, where you pick your path to the end boss. Once you beat that, you go to the next stage. When you die, you return to your little hub where you can unlock new character upgrades or weapons, etc.
There is also a story here! It starts out really vague but starts to unravel as you play. Sometimes you get little snippets, sometimes memories... and don't get me wrong it's kinda weird. But in a fun way.
I definitely think this one was somebody's passion project and it shows. This game is more than meets the eye and I recommend trying it out.

Great little action Rogelike. Combat is very fluid and being able to dodge out of animations is a nice touch. Excited to see where this goes.

Didn’t think I’d get hooked this quick, but Ovis Loop has been a blast so far. The pixel art is beautiful, the music fits perfectly, and I really like the whole sheep and wolf dynamic in the story—it gives the game a lot of charm.
Gameplay feels smooth and rewarding. Beating the Next Generation Wreckage was super satisfying, and the difficulty hits that sweet spot of challenging without being unfair. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into story-driven pixel art games.

Fluid, satisfying combat, interesting build synergies with the modules you can acquire, and great animation and music. Really excited to see how this one progresses!
