For the price? Recommended. But keep in mind ― it's less of a city builder and more of a low-stakes puzzle game that can *result* in rather aesthetic medieval city maps at the end of each level. The visuals are charming in an old-school Stronghold way, and I'm not bothered by the lack of depth in mechanics or controls, but I can understand why some would be. It's enjoyable enough that, as someone who likes more relaxing games, I can see myself returning to this regularly, but maybe not for too long each time. If it cost more than a few dollars, I wouldn't recommend, but all in all it's a pleasantly challenging way to set up a visually appealing city for a half hour or so ― just don't expect too much beyond that.

I've only played 26 minutes of this. It's pretty chill, which is what I was hoping for, but it's also pretty cludgy. The graphics are nice but the single perspective and lack of rotation tools make it clumsy to place buildings. There are some weird things about placing buildings- like apparently you can't cross from land to floating platform with a building, and some terrain prevents some buildings from being place but the boundaries of that terrain are not at all clear. This makes it hard to predict whether you'll be able to place another building, so the game inhibits developing any kind of strategy.
I guess I'd recommend it as long as it's free, but I'm glad I didn't pay money for it.

Fun, relaxing game. Like a city builder card game hybrid. I find myself coming back to it over and over again when I'm bored. Can't wait to finish the campaign and see what the DLC pack has in store for me. I do wish the game came with a soundtrack, or offered the option to purchase it, as the the music is great.

I really like how the proximity based building system makes planning each settlement feel simple and satisfying. I also enjoy the variety of structures and the freedom sandbox mode gives me to experiment. The relaxing soundtrack fits the cozy atmosphere really well.

Cosy sandbox puzzle; simple and enjoyable gameplay. The visuals are nice and crisp, with a harmonious colour palette and cute animations. Recommended!

I love this game and have played it through several times. I would highly recommend it, however, if you are interested in expanding into the (purchased) premium levels or want to play a larger map (also a purchase) in sandbox, don't waste your money. I purchased both and despite the game 'supposedly' updating the content it never did. I tried reaching out to the content creator and never heard back. So if you don't mind replaying the free maps over again or creating on the smaller maps, this game is great. I wish there were more with this format.

Game is available for Mac but the Premium Levels and Sandbox DLC is only for Windows. Frustrating and severely limits ability to play.
