The amount of detail poured into this story is absolutely mind boggling! The voice acting is amazing and there are thousands of lines of dialog. The characters are very interesting. The game has 5 chapters and it's a very long game. Sadly the in game puzzles are sometimes very tedious on par with Monkey Island. I know that's a beloved franchise, but so many times we quit that game in frustration because the item combo puzzles were drawn out, far fetched and didn't always make sense, or even worse, the item hot spot wasn't there earlier, but it is now. Oddly the game charged you points for hotspots, which were tiny and hard to locate. Many of the navigation transitions were long for no reason. There were many times where you didn't know what to do or where to go next. All of that said, the game was still enjoyable especially if you like old school classic P&C adventures with a real detective angle. And the end was a total stunner! Definitely recommended!

A good game which dared to be different, it was humorous and fun to play, the voice acting was above average and you felt like you were in a movie. We had to use the hot spot hint once because we didn't look properly, but everything was solvable. A good Adventure game worth playing.

Nice old point and click. Took 10 hours to play. Agatha Christie story rip-off, but the characters were fun and the artwork lovely. The hotspot highlight tool did not help at all - impossible to see the highlight. But I really didn't need it, as the game was very easy. There was one puzzle in the Cairo museum that needed walkthrough help. First half you play as a Swiss policeman. Second half as a an Egyptian thief. Takes place on the Orient Express, a cruise ship from Venice to Cairo, and an Eqyptian museum.

I had to replay bits because a few bugs (and 1-2 incidents where it was not actually bugged but just particular about click order, even if the order should not matter logically). However these were not game-breaking to me, although I do recommend keeping up with saves every so often. Overall it was a charming adventure with some story twists I had not expected. Recommend to fans of this setting and genre, I will definitely check out more from this studio!

It's difficult for me to decide if I should recommend it or not. I agree with the negative reviews. So it's probably a yes from me, IF you can get it on a HUGE sale (80-90% off). Sorry but 20 bucks for a 7 year old indie game that's sub-6 hours long (as you can see from my playtime) is asking too much.
I really liked the dialogue, and might recommend the game just for that. Otherwise, the short duration of it makes it so that by the time the ending rolls around you're like, "that's it?". It feels like this game should have been at least twice as long to really set up the story and twist. Though I don't know if many people can sustain pointing and clicking for 12 hours lol. It feels like it rushes you to the end, and the play time reflects that. There's also not really any foreshadowing or any way for you to guess at the ending before right at the very end. Each character should have gotten a lot more time in the spotlight to really set the mood and pace.
But overall it was enjoyable up until that time at the end. Kind of a meditative game in a way. Puzzles aren't too difficult or complicated either, the game doesn't have you hunting around huge areas for the one single pixel you need.
