Contraband Police
As a young graduate of the officer school, you are sent to a border outpost in the mountainous region of Karikatka. Entry to the territory of the Akaristan People’s Republic is regulated by strict party rules, and every step you take is monitored! The situation on the border worsens when one of your comrades dies during an intervention…
Document Check
Every visitor must have a complete set of valid documents with them. Even the slightest discrepancy means denial of entry. Over time, the number of documents will increase, and errors will become more difficult to detect.
Smuggling Detection
Our intelligence regularly provides information on suspicious drivers. Search their vehicles with an ultraviolet flashlight, and then use the appropriate tools to extract the contraband. No smuggled goods should cross the border!
Shootouts
In some situations, you will be forced to use firearms. Your post is a constant target of attacks by the Oberankov gang, and every outing is associated with the risk of confrontation with the enemy.
Police Chases
Desperate smugglers may try to escape the inspection zone. You are obligated to apprehend and arrest them! Buy and upgrade police cars to increase the efficiency of the chase.
Post Management
Upgrade your post to strengthen its defense and improve subsequent management elements. However, keep in mind the growing costs of maintaining the facility. Proper inspections, interception of contraband, and successful interventions are some of the ways to earn money.
Special Missions
Always be ready for emergency intervention. Solve criminal puzzles, support your comrades, and disrupt the plans of the “Bloody Fist” rebels. Make decisions that determine the future of Akaristan.

I had a guy arrive at the border in a van saying that he was carrying medicine to cure children with stage 4 cancer. Unfortunately, his passport was expired by 1 day so i slashed all of his tires, sent him to the labour camp for the rest of his life and blew up the remaining contents of the van with a grenade.
10/10 game would recommend.

Honestly only installed this game because of CaseOh and I gotta say, it's actually pretty fun. I think the Indie game takeover that's happening is great for the current climate of gaming.

some guy said his family was in danger and wanted to enter to pay off the debt, but somebody didn't read the entry regulations. Denied 10/10

Overall great and immersive game, would absolutely recommend. Story is short, about 15 hours, and a little easy. However, you can play it multiple times taking different sides. There is also endless mode, and more content coming.
A few thoughts to the developers:
First, shootouts are too easy. I feel I can stand there and never die, just pop headshot by headshot. The big red markers make these interactions point-and-click without any strategy, and they also break the immersion of no HUD. First time, I was out of ammo, but manged to knife 4 guys without too much resistance, and I think that shouldn't be possible. Being attacked on the road is just a nuisance, not a challenge. Especially late-game with good rifles and health, I can just stand in the middle of the road and click below the red markers, and that's it.
Second, there's too much driving back and forth. Granted, I normally drove my contraband and prisoners whenever there were 2+, not realizing I might as well wait for more, but it still seems excessive. Being able to deliver prisoners and contraband at both locations could alleviate this.
Third, spotting smugglers is a little too easy. They always leave that UV mark, and if there is a hint like partial registration number, once you see it it's almost always going to be a smuggler. Also, it feels unlikely that the authorities know something about every single smuggler. How about adding some extra smugglers, which don't give you penalty if not found, but a significant boost if found? Like an unknown smuggler.
Finally, I would like more stuff to spend money on. The later half of the game I was hovering 10.000-15.000, but the upgrades didn't feel too meaningful. Maybe more cars, or even smaller stuff like automatic car weighing, improved bulletin boards, or cosmetic upgrades, or even just having multiple outside parking spaces.

What a great game. Not only is it hella addicting, but its actually fun, some people may play this game for an hour and get bored, but i just finished a 7 hour game play and it was still so fun. It reminds me of a tycoon type game i used to play on Roblox when i was a kid, mixed with Papers Please. And i also love the fact the devs don't just let the game rot away, they are consistent and always keeping up with updates and different modes. A multiplayer option would be so fun though, just saying.

This game came out of nowhere for me. I wasn't aware of it until I randomly saw it on YouTube, then I thought it would be one of those silly cash-grab games that you play once or twice and forget all about it, however to my surprise Contraband Police actually has a lot of content and it actually plays very, very well.
Imagine the fantastic Papers, Please but in 3d, and now you also have to check the vehicles on top of the people. On top of it you also get some side missions, along with managing your checkpoint, upgrading and buying new vehicles, buildings and personnel. Sometimes having to drive around personally and deliver prisoners and contraband.
Along with the campaign (which comes with its own missions) you also get endless mode which comes with more upgrades. The rule set changes frequently here, so there's always something new to do to keep it entertaining.
Honestly, if you liked Papers, Please - you're going to love this one too.
