Undertale
Welcome to UNDERTALE. In this RPG, you control a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. Now you must find your way out… or stay trapped forever. Features: Killing is unnecessary: negotiate out of danger using the unique battle system. Time your attacks for extra damage, then dodge enemy attacks in a style reminiscent of top-down shooters. Original art and soundtrack brimming with personality. Soulful, character-rich story with an emphasis on humor. Created mostly by one person. Become friends with all of the bosses! At least 5 dogs. You can date a skeleton. Hmmm… now there are 6 dogs…? Maybe you won't want to date the skeleton. I thought I found a 7th dog, but it was actually just the 3rd dog. If you play this game, can you count the dogs for me…? I'm not good at it.

I avoided Undertale and Deltarune for so long. I felt I would be completely out of place if I had joined. I gave up because the entirety of the internet bullied me into playing them. I wish I caved in sooner. Just from playing a singular neutral route (because of accidentally killing Toriel-), I cried. The music is beautiful. The story is heartbreaking. I'll for sure play through at least two more times and I promise, it is worth it, even if you are a decade late to the party like me.

if there's one thing I'd wish in the world is to be able to forget about this game so I can experience it for the first time all over again.

I was an Undertale larper for almost 11 years... I was missing such a peak game for so long.
A timeless masterpiece. I love all characters, all osts, all game mechanics. Thanks for childhood.
Looking forward to play Deltarune.

I first played Undertale eight years ago, and somehow it has never left me.
Since then I’ve played a lot of games, but very few have stayed with me the way Undertale has. What started as just another RPG slowly became something I genuinely care about on a personal level. The characters felt real in a way I did not expect, the music still stays in my head years later, and the choices I made actually mattered in a way that very few games have ever managed to capture.
Beneath the humor, the weirdness, and the simple retro visuals is something deeply human. It is a story about empathy, seeing the humanity in evreyone, and realizing that every person you meet carries something worth understanding. It made me laugh in ways I did not expect, it made me think long after I stopped playing, and at times it genuinely caught me off guard emotionally.
Even now, all these years later, I still find myself going back to the soundtrack and remembering moments that somehow never lost their weight. Very few pieces of media have ever stayed with me like this.
Undertale was not just a game I played. It became something I carry with me. A part of my life I did not realize would matter this much when I first started it. And even now, I do not think that impact will ever really fade.
10/10. A once in a lifetime experience that somehow still feels alive in my memory.

Don't let the internet fool you into thinking this game is cringe and full of memes. Play this masterpiece yourself.

Actually the greatest indie game ever made. I cannot believe it took me 11 years to play this absolute cinema.
