Reventure
An adventure with 100 different endings You are a wannabe hero who is supposed to do hero-ish things but sometimes blows that off and does crazy stuff instead. One hundred different endings Choose your path, every decision leads to a new ending. Will you find the real one? Is there such a thing? Only one way to know… Lots of "Aha!" moments The world doesn't change with each new game, you do. Well, actually it DOES change, but that's a secret for you to find out. A big bunch of unlockable stuff New playable characters, hints, costumes, visual effects and more! Bazillions of secrets and pop-culture references They are, you know, secrets. So we won't spoil them here ;) Magic Even a simple-looking-yet-amazing game like this takes a lot of time and big piles of money to make, but you can get it for only a few bucks. How's that for magic? Time travel, battle royale fights, mimics, permadeath, shotguns, mining, resource gathering, base building, global leaderboards, farming… Ok, we may have had exaggerated on that one… OR HAVE WE??? Humor Yup, there's that too. Available in many flavours. A beautiful OST Don't believe us? Listen to it here.

Wow... This game is a dollar. But it is jam packed full with so much fun. 100 endings is a bit much but the amount of references and dynamic changes to the world as you unlock more endings made for an awesome time.
I love the way this game lays "hints" around the world (they look like scrolls you can pick up) that give a simple phrase on how to unlock that ending. By the time I unlocked all the endings that I could without any hints and then those I could with the in-game hints, I was able to find 88/100 endings in 14 hours without having to look up a guide.
I love how everything behaved more as if it were a puzzle rather than a hack and slash. Each run you'd have to strategically choose your items you pick up as you become less mobile the more you carry.
This game is a ton of fun, and for a dollar you can't go wrong. I definitely recommend picking this one up!

It has violence and gore, which I did not expect when getting this game, but it's quite funny, and great for completionists

interesting adventure game where your goal is to die and find new paths and different endings. i was impatient so i used a video walkthrough guide, but if you plan on exploring everything yourself you can easily get double my amount of playtime (if not more) out of it.

Reventure is a quirky, silly platformer that leans into the ridiculous and illogical. And man, what an awesome game this is! Reventure is easily worth $10 and they sell it for less than $2 Canadian, the value here is absolutely insane. This is one of those games where if you haven't already bought it yet... what on earth are you waiting for? Just buy it. Then play it. Get as far as you can without guides. Then, when you've used all that brain juice of yours, look things up and finish it. Its 100% worth it. Just do it. Seriously.
If you're considering buying the game but still aren't sure, see below for a more comprehensive breakdown!

About My Reviews:
I'm a dork with two decades of gaming experience under my belt. I almost exclusively play games on controller (when applicable) which gives me a unique perspective from that of somebody gaming exclusively via mouse and keyboard. The overall score above is entirely just for fun, it really doesn't mean anything! A numeric score will always only be subjective, you are I aren't likely to agree! The breakdown is meant to give you more useful information about various aspects of the game in a relatively unbiased way. The goal is to give you a more complete picture of what the game has to offer so you can make an informed decision with your money.
This review system is an active work in progress so if you have any feedback at all, I am absolutely open to suggestions!

Easily the most stressful and boring game I've played. Going for 100% is pure pain especially after the first 30 endings, which are easy and funny, the rest is just lame. But the art style and creativity of the devs save this game badly. Would recomend if you like suffering or just want to see some endings, especially since it's really cheap for the playtime it offerts(10h+ of pure suffering).

Lotta fun and humour with this one. Fully recommended at this price point.
I also like how the world's built with very subtle changes every run that impact the way you traverse it. They do it in pretty clever ways.

Really fun game.
In the beginning, you can just try different things and you will always get a new ending.
Then you will get to the part where you have to figure out, what ending you can achieve with the different items and how to obtain them. So it's mostly a puzzle game, after the first 1-2 hours.
I wanted to complete all 100 endings and used a guide at the end, because I probably would have needed quite some time to figure out some of the solutions, because it can get a bit overwhleming at the end.
Also it's probaly one of the funniest games I played in a while, the ways/ideas to get an end are often good fun and the end texts have a nicely dry humor.
On the downside, this game can get very repetetive, if you want to complete it. You have some shortcuts after a while, but you can't use them always. Some of the endings make a too small difference and you have to do the same again and again (hi princess...).
If you make a mistake, you often have to restart, a rewind option would have been great.
But still a really fun game, that I enjoyed.
