YIIK: A Postmodern RPG
In this surreal Japanese-style RPG, when a mystery woman vanishes from an elevator in front of his eyes, fresh graduate Alex assembles a squad of internet misfits to investigate her disappearance. Tackle turn-based battles with a novel blend of twitchy minigames, weird weapons and weirder enemies.

YIIK is a bad game. YIIK is a really bad game. It's a game that nobody should have to subject themselves to - almost every aspect of it is subpar in some way. Do not buy this game expecting something enjoyable, because you won't find it.
However, I do believe YIIK is a game that everyone should try, regardless of its quality. It's a game of missed opportunity, horrible direction, and lackluster design choices that make the overall package into something so unique on its own that I can't seem to stop thinking about it. The game is somehow able to misstep at every possible turn, yet still present itself with such gusto that you can tell the developers really, truly believed that YIIK was going to be big thing in games - and this fact alone makes the experience feel unlike anything else.
I could go on for hours about the horrible writing, the Alex monologues, the patched-together final act, the questionable art direction, or even the inconsistent voice acting, but none of it captures the bigger picture of the project as a whole. When you realize the sheer amount of work that went into this passion project, you start to see how special it really is. By the end of the game, you'll be so ready to accept whatever the game throws at you that your first question isn't "What went wrong with YIIK?", but rather "What went right?"
YIIK is a bad game, and you should absolutely experience it. I'm not condoning that you buy this game, but, check it out if you ever get the chance.
Be sure to play with the original monologues option.
