XCOM: Enemy Unknown will place you in control of a secret paramilitary organization called XCOM. As the XCOM commander, you will defend against a terrifying global alien invasion by managing resources, advancing technologies, and overseeing combat strategies and individual unit tactics.
The original XCOM is widely regarded as one of the best games ever made and has now been re-imagined by the strategy experts at Firaxis Games. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will expand on that legacy with an entirely new invasion story, enemies and technologies to fight aliens and defend Earth.
You will control the fate of the human race through researching alien technologies, creating and managing a fully operational base, planning combat missions and controlling soldier movement in battle.

C'est mon premier jeux de stratégie et o mon dieu, c'est l'un des meilleures jeux tout court auquelle j'ai jouer. C'est difficile mais juste assez pour pas non plus te faire balancer ton pc par la fenêtre, y a une bonne marge de difficulté, on s'ennuie vraiment pas, le début est peut etre un chouilla lent si tu est habituer, mais ca avance vite. super jeux :D

Le défaut du jeu: ne pas être XCOM: Enemy Unkonwn, le premier de la série, celui des années 1990.
Sinon, c'est un très bon jeu qui combine de la tactique au tout par tour avec une escouade réduite, et de la stratégie en temps réel, sur une carte du mon où on place des bases pour lutter contre l'invasion alien
Ah oui, il lui manque aussi la super mission finale où on allait sur Mars pour tuer les aliens.
Mais sinon, c'est très bon.

Peut être un peu redondant en avancant mais la liaison entre le gameplay "fallout shelter" et le tactical rpg tour par tour est très bien ficelée. Je pense que pour bien profiter il ne faut pas hésiter à relancer une partie si on a trop dépensé bêtement au début (oups) et ne pas hésiter également à recharger la sauvegarde lorsque le commando loupe un tir au corps à corps à 95% de chance de réussite et se fait ensuite one shot.

One of the best game to play. It's hard to understand at first because description of loot and area doesn't explain you anything about it. The accuraccy on the start is difficult and I got quit unlucky/unskilled at the beginning which put me in very difficult situation in the mid campaign since i lost so many soldier. After trying to come back for a few moment, I finally lost. And it was weird. Despite, all my lost soldiers, despite, failing the whole campaign. I failed joy. This game is clearly asking a lot, but what a joy. I played a second campaign. At some points, my best soldiers were ambushed by multiple pods. The heavy just rocket everything but not enough. I lost all my soldier..... except one. My assault "All In" She stood the ground, alone, against like 8 of injured ennemy and finished all of them. And I one the mission !!! She became best grade. And...... I still lost. Then I came back. Better positionning, better equipment. I had really eraly satellite, and i took no risk with grenade. And this time.... I finally one. This game triggers so many emotion. When a soldier is about to die, when you're about to lose a state member, when one survive despite all odds... The animations are really good, and the mood of "mystery space ennemy" is really nailed. I highly recommend.
