Edit
After losing its home, one lonely Wum must travel the length and width of the world to find a new place to live. From the metropolitan haven Popocity to the cavernous Bliekopolis, our Wum will discover magical places and encounter strange creatures. But this Wum is no traditional hero and only by using wit and charm can it succeed in this massive journey. Wuppo is a two man passion project, with hand-drawn visuals, an extensive soundtrack and a huge world to explore.

I am going to be starting this by saying thank you to the people that made Wuppo. I originally bought the game back in 2019 on my Xbox One. I was going through absolutely horrible stress at school and just suffering with mental issues in general. I saw this game on sale and bought it, hoping I would get reminded of one of my favorite childhood games I have ever played, Super Paper Mario. I literally got lost in it for what felt like days, exploring every nook and cranny and talking to every npc. I can confidently say this game gave me the strength to keep going. I have since changed schools and graduated from a better vocational school with a couple of adobe certifications so I can hopefully have a future in potential advertising and marketing. I have since bought it on Switch, PS4 and now pc! I can't recommend this game enough for those looking for a fun, cozy, or straight up nostalgic experience. I hope the team keeps making great games and to anyone who read this whole review, thank you for your time!

To be honest, I think more people should be talking about this game, because it might just become a cult-classic in the future.
It's a cute little platformer that's a bit challenging, but has some really creative platforming ideas with an interesting art-style. I highly recommend it to fans of platformers, and also to fans of games that include cute and unique styles.
The game is very creative, and there's quite a lot of different ways to play it.
Overall, it's a cute little platformer that really shows the creative side of indie developers!
I would recommend this title to any indie lovers and 2D platformer fans!

this game was amazing, it first felt like a paper mario inspired game but the more i played it the more it felt disconnected, and going to its own thing, the only problem of this game was a few minor bugs, but those can be ignored and some are just plain funny, the time mechanic of this game is good, makes it feel more "realistic" so time is precious, all that balanced to my silly little fun scale it made it a 9/10 (because of some minor softlock bugs)
(edit: i finally finished the game, my last opinion is still the same but ive noticed more bugs, in low fps situations you jump slightly lower, this might not seem like a big deal in the early game but, in a later game which if you know you know, the jump height is essential, so it makes it basically impossible to reach there. so if you have a low-end device, try using some settings that makes the game run much faster
tl;dr: you jump less in low fps)

A very cute game with surprisingly cool lore.
I don't think it gets much better than getting to play as a fat sphere who eats ice cream and harasses opponents to death with a gum dispenser.

Very cute game. The main appeal is the overall personality and aesthetic- everything is hand drawn, there are lots of little fun things you can do, etc. I enjoyed my time with it and I think even if I had gotten it at full price I'd have gotten my money's worth. Don't expect too much in terms of deep satisfying gameplay or whatever though, the combat is just kind of okay. My biggest complaint is that I wish the game was just a little bit bigger and had a little bit more things to do because it felt too often like I barely even got to use some of the cool items and upgrades and stuff I got. Still fun though, would recommend
