Great WRC game!
As a F1 fan, i only played F1 games and not any other racing games...
This was my first ever WRC game and i don't regret it, it's a lot of fun and if the game is on sale i recommend buying it. (as i did)
The servers are turned off, however you can still play multiplayer with friends or randoms.
The game recently got popular again, but it is slowly losing players.
The graphics and sounds are great, the physics not too much but it's fun.

One of the best rally games to play on the Steam Deck, with graphics that look great, featuring very detailed terrain and cars.
The handling is a bit arcadey but fun and engaging, especially on a controller. Compared to Dirt 2.0, where you can barely keep the car straight sometimes.
95% of the time, the car physics are good, but in the remaining 5%, you will lose control of the car due to hitting a tiny rock when cutting a corner at a slightly wrong angle.
Overall, it's a great semi-arcade rally game to grab on sale – 8/10.

The "old-school" rally-racing feeling is all over the place, and I love that.
No Gymkhana / freestyle / destruction or other useless tricks. No rewind. No boring story mode with "youtube" fans to earn. No endless cutscenes. Just a straight old-school rally racing that brings me back to the Colin Mc Rae era.
WRC 7 looks and feels decent but a little bit outdated, like maybe a xbox360/PS3 game (the snow environment and the light effets are however amazing!).
The game might not be technically impressive compared to other racing games but in his core it's a much better game.
The difficulty customization is excellent. Contrary to DIRT Rally (2015) which is brutally difficult, this WRC game can be played by both noobie/terrible drivers (like me) or racing experts.
The career mode (Junior + WRC2 + WRC) is about 13-15 hours long, which is a little bit on the short side but I prefer this over the 30+ hours career mode from, let's say, the latest Forza Motorsport or GT games.
Hightly recommended.
My final verdict:
- worth buying full price: YES
- worth buying on sale: YES
- would playing again : YES

WRC 7 is another fun rally racing game of the series. It is an overall upgrade over previous parts with main changes in graphics, audio and some engine tweeks. If there are any noticible changes to gameplay other than the driving characteristics and system, I did not find them.
You can buy it on an attractive discounts so it can be worth your time and money.
