HIGH REFRESH RATE USER!!!!!:
disable physics synchronization under the graphics option. I thought the physics were really weird at first but I just figured out they are tied to fps for some reason, lucky that can be disabled.
Other than that, pretty cool game, the tracks are interesting.
Can't say much more tho, i'm a pretty casual racing gamer, and I don't know jack about cars.

This is not a game.. this is therapy.. after some time I just switched off sounds and played some sermons on the background or music.. really relaxing games especially if you start to play it on hard and are pushing to be the first, thats when the game gets interesting, of course its a bit older, but visually still stunning, gameplay is superb, feeling of cars and overall physics is good, sometimes might feel arcadey, but nothing is perfect right? still great game.. got it for 3 € from bundle with other games, but this is something special.. if you are rally fan - defo buy it, if you are not - for therapy reasons defo buy it.. One of the best rally games to play on the Steam Deck, with graphics that look great, featuring very detailed terrain and cars.
The handling is a bit arcadey but fun and engaging, especially on a controller. Compared to Dirt 2.0, where you can barely keep the car straight sometimes.
95% of the time, the car physics are good, but in the remaining 5%, you will lose control of the car due to hitting a tiny rock when cutting a corner at a slightly wrong angle.
Overall, it's a great semi-arcade rally game to grab on sale – 8/10.

Along with WRC 6, this is the best of the franchise in that the graphics and handling (with controller) are better than earlier editions, without all the team management that comes in the later ones. I like driving, not management.

THE best WRC game. Lots of tracks, good performance, cars feel great and the sound design is especially good.
