World Seed
About
World Seed is a procedurally generated sandbox MMORPG with roguelike features. The main focus of the game is build-diversity & character progression.
“The six gods of the universe battle for singularity and you must fight back to preserve balance.”
In this game you’ll become stronger by crafting & upgrading your equipment or simply roll the dice and hope for some epic loot to drop as you slay enemies.
It’s a harsh world to survive in, so make sure to bring some friends along when in need of help.
Freedom of Choice
Your strategy is valid
World Seed won’t push you in linear line of progression. We believe great games are the ones that offer the player to choose their own path, guided by the rules of the game.
Build diversity
There are few restrictions on how you build your characters. We’re actively working towards keeping most builds and strategies viable.
Distance from center
There is no traditional leveling system in World Seed. The further from the center you travel, the harder the game gets.
Defeating high-level creatures will reward you with equipment of the same gearscore.
Tier progression
The rarity and quality of your items are based on item tier. There are 10 tiers in the game represented by roman numerals.
Every tier of an equipment unlocks new tier perks for you to choose from.
Infinite World
World Seed features an infinite world which is procedurally generated. Its content is renewed every hour.
Crafting
World Seed offers two methods of crafting: your typical “x materials to craft y,” but also upgrading. Upgrading items in World Seed is done by combining three equal items to a better one, yielding +1 in tier level.
Most items in World Seed can be upgraded this way. This offers a unique feature which prevents items from becoming obsolete as you progress further into the game.

Overall, this game has been amazing so far. I really enjoy it, wanted to play an hour and realize 3 hours have passed already. It's interesting, innovative, balanced and really well thought out.
It's even more amazing to know, that it's the work of a solo developer. I rarely write reviews, but I had to do it in this case.
I don't even remotely understand people complaining about the free period and then having to pay. It's incredibly cheap for all the content and all the hours you'll get.
The only negative point thus far has been, that the server went down for a couple of hours directly after I started playing. But again, it's a solo developer running this, and probably far more people than anticipated are playing this game, so it's totally understandable for me.
I fell in love with World Seed, and I hope for much more of it to come in the future.

I like this game so far! I could see myself getting far in it. Basically you select a character, with which you explore the hexagonally tiled world to beat some enemies, farm and collect money to exchange them for better equipment and weapons. One action per tile, but the world also changes every (real) hour, so you never run out of tiles! You are free to risk your life to get high-level stuff, or you can stay close to center to git gud.
It was a little confusing in the beginning, but everything is self-explanatory, also there is a global chat where you can interact with other people. You can invite over friends to beat dungeons together or even fight them for fun! (Need some friends tho :P)
Shout out to the one and only developer of this great game!
IMPORTANT: This is basically a free trial of the game, to continue beyond a certain point you have to pay ~9$, but if you think, it's worth the time, it's worth the money!

So i found this game by browsing new RPG.
I do this every month or so, and it was defenitely a nice surprise.
I always wanted a chill rpg game. This one has even more stuff i craved for long.
Somewhat procedual generated, Infinite to some extent and rewarding progression.
Dont be fooled by the first hour or so, game has lot more depth than at first glance.
When it comes to the money: Its the equivalent of two beers. Money well spent.
