Word Crack

EDIT: I definitely Recommended Word Crack now. It is actively being worked on to improve game-play, and correct any found issues (so please report them if you come across them to help the developer ensure a quality game)
I look forward to the future releases and improvements.
I hope there's a future option for non-pixel fonts, but active updates and improvements have made this is a very playable word game.

If you're looking for a Wordle fix, look elsewhere. This game looks like Wordle, but isn't. It is ALMOST a working product, and if the issues are fixed, i'd consider purchasing it again. I've requested a refund due to it not playing as advertised/indicated in the screenshots and examples. I could have tolerated most other complaints about it.
When compared to Wordle...
Things that are the same:
- you type letters to guess a word
Things that are not the same:
- You are given a clue to the first letter of the word.
- 1 fewer attempts than Wordle
- No options to start at 5 letters or change letter count. Starts at 4 letters.
- Guessing correct letters in the wrong place are not indicated at all
- There's no tracker/on-screen keyboard highlighting potential letters to solve the puzzle.
Other thoughts:
- BG music is actually pleasant, in contrast to the sound effects which are bad.
- Font is terrible. A cleaner crisper font would have been appreciated, not this pixel font.
The screenshots seem to indicate that it plays like Wordle, where letters that exist in the word are highlighted in yellow, but these do not appear while playing. Either the game is broken or bugged, which makes guessing the words a frustrating endeavor since it ONLY indicates a correct letter in the correct position (green) and with 1 fewer guesses at that.

Developer is Closing Studio so all Games will be Removed (Soon)
I am closing down Lonely Ocelot and as such, removing this game from the Steam store.
Thanks to everyone that has bought this game. Anyone who has purchased the game, will still be able to play it.
