Windswept is pure joy for me. Beautiful pixel art aesthetics, music that perfectly matches my taste. The gameplay takes some getting used to, but once you figure out controlling both characters, it's a lot of fun (a mix of a precision platformer like Celeste and a 2D platformer like the Donkey Kong Country games). An absolutely fantastic platformer!
If controlling the two characters frustrates you:
Please don't give up too quickly. You'll get used to it over time, and the more you practice, the easier it will become.

I grew up with the Donkey Kong Country series, and this game clearly takes inspiration from it. It's very hard, which means I got the same mix of frustration and then euphoria from beating levels that I got from the games back when I was a child. In general, the difficulty feels very fair and deserved, though.

Wer die alten Donkey Kong Country (1-3) Spiele liebte, der wird sich hier richtig wohl fühlen! Von süßen Tierbegleitern bis hin zu knackigen Bonusleveln und ner Menge Collectables, hier bekommt man so vieles, was man früher so geliebt hat! Hab schon lange drauf gewartet gehabt und das warten hat sich definitiv gelohnt! Ein absolutes muss für jeden der gute Plattformer mag! Absolute süß und eine absolute Empfehlung!
