Wild Woods

I tried the demo of this game a few years ago, shortly after looking for something similar to Unrailed. My wife and I joined the creators' Discord and followed every game update, rooting for its release.
The game is very fun and easy to play, besides being super cute. For anyone who enjoys couch co-op, it’s fantastic.

Multiplayer is probably the biggest. It suffers a lot of problems when connecting with other folks off-cable connection. Lots of crashes and desyncs.
Had an interesting error when I switched networks to another location where two of me popped up in the lobby.
Controls a bit wonky, please offer player support the ability to change controls for keyboard!
Overall fun game with potential. Would love to see some more RPG elements like the option to pick different classes for characters such as a Mage or a Rogue, and maybe a few extra different weapons or movesets for the weapons we have. Looking forward to seeing what gets added in the future!

Just finished chapter 2 and I have to say that I really enjoyed my time with the game. I hope the developers bring out more content for the game and keep working on it.
I recommend everyone to play the tutorial first, as it explains the basics of the game and makes it easier to get into the game.
I've been looking forward to the game for a while and I have to say that my expectations have definitely been exceeded.

I bought this game thinking it'd play like a roguelike. This is simply a couch coop/party game. There's no progression between runs beyond just trying to get a better high score. I was disappointed and decided to try for a second run.
With the new mindset, understanding that that run is all there is....its pretty fun. Get a few friends together and just see how far you can get. I enjoyed my time with it and decided to keep it as I think it'd be fun to play with the kids.

This was a very fun game! My husband and I played through it a couple times so far and can't wait for the full release! Super cute, fun, and challenging.

This is my first time ever writing a review on Steam -- I felt so compelled to give the Devs a positive review since trying out this new indie game! I really enjoyed the art style/graphics. It's super adorable and I'm obsessed with the rouge-like feel + combined elements of Unrailed. This is a great game to play as a couch Co-Op! I highly recommend trying it out locally with another player. The gameplay is fun and very replayable. The only thing at the moment is everytime we get to a boss or arena, the game crashes. Can't wait to see what other weapons and biomes they add in this game once they fix all the bugs in the full version!

This is such a cute and fun game to play with friends. I can't imagine playing this solo since there's so much to manage between fighting, resource gathering, and resource management. I see a lot of potential for this game, especially given where it is at early access right now.
There's 1 major drawback with the game currently, and it's the all in or nothing game files right now. You're not able to save to continue at another time with friends nor reconnect to join the same run if someone from the party disconnects.
Overall, I really love the game despite that, and I know me and my friends are excited to start another run together. <3
