Whispers of a Machine is a Sci-Fi Nordic Noir that tells the story of Vera, a cybernetically augmented special agent tasked with investigating a string of murders. As an agent of the Central Bureau, Vera is equipped with an advanced nano-substance called Blue. This rare and sought-after technology allows her to develop superhuman abilities adapted to her psychological mindset. Choose your playstyle and utilize these augmentations to investigate, gather information, and solve puzzles with multiple solutions. Ce jeu est fait pour vous si vous êtes un inconditionnel des jeux d'aventure en pointer-cliquer et si vous aimez les polars de science-fiction.
Le thème de l'intelligence artificielle générale, de la superintelligence et de la singularité technologique est intéressant, mais il est abordé de manière plutôt superficielle et à travers le prisme de l'intérêt individuel de la protagoniste. On ne ressent donc pas vraiment d'enjeu lors du choix final à effectuer dans le jeu.
Certaines énigmes proposent des solutions différentes en fonction de la manière de jouer (empathique, autoritaire ou analytique), ce qui offre une rejouabilité limitée, mais l'intrigue et le choix final restent inchangés.

It is a good game but a hard game. I used a neoseeker walkthrough all the way along because the constant need of determining choices is puzzling. I wonder how you can play that without a guide actually because it is very hard to guess what to do and where to go, some puzzles are rather obscure also and again I jjust cheated those ones...Different from Kathy Rain but interesting. Not the best in the genre. The developers must be praised for developing 3 different routes and multiples ending and enhancements system, which really tried to renew the genre. But in the end, it only made it harder and made the use of a guide indispensable.

Un excellent point n click, probablement l'un des meilleurs auxquels j'ai joué depuis de nombreuses années. Et quelle direction artistique !!! un regal pour les yeux et les oreilles.
