From this prologue version, seems like a fun puzzle game, with some darkness in it.
It's a platformer puzzle game with universe shifting, which might change the scenery depending on which universe you are. From what I see, the world can be shifted into a good and bad version. The good version contains live vegetation, nice day, friendly people and stuff for you to talk, while the bad version contains a uglier, scarier appearance, with a grim appearance of the npcs from the good version, be them either dead or not.
One example of that is when you get to the town at the end of the demo. In the good version, you see a dog and two kids playing around in the town. In the bad version, if you didn't got the car keys for Everret yet, you will see that same dog, malnourished, eating one of the kids. That just one of the examples of how dark the game can be.
The story itself is fun, and I had a good time following it. The characters are well animated, aswell as in some of their dialogues, so they really put the narrative to shine here.
The puzzles in the prologue are actually simple, beside the ones in the later part of the prologue put my brain cells to work a bit. Also, be careful not to get your character killed while doing a puzzle, heh. Yeah, your character can get killed when falling from tall heights, or being crushed by a box, for example, but the consequence is respawning somewhere else in the room.
The only thing that seems off, is that in the second zone, the kid seems fine with what is going on in the bad multiverse, while I was spending most of my time wondering what the hell happened there.
I actually got to meet this game because of a review from Kong game, done by Rerez, where they also covered other games Iguanabee also developed. Was quite a interesting concept, and made me look into the game. Good thing I tried the prologue.
I already wishlisted it, and will try out the full game once I'm able to.
